When Can I Pick Arrival Time ???

Curious when we will be able to select arrival time.  What are other’s experiences?  Is it 30 days prior?

It certainly was 30 days for our trip on the Sky that ended yesterday.  FWIW, though, there was no interest in arrival groups by the Princess staff when we arrived at PE on the 20th, we just walked into the terminal, checked in and walked on the ship. Nobody asked for our arrival group info at all. I

Thanks. Our Royal Caribbean cruise last month was that way but it sailed at 40% capacity. Do you know what the capacity was on Sky?

On our sailing on 20 Nov, we were at about 56% full. When the Sky left PE yesterday, it sailed with about 46%, and that includes over 400 who stayed on board for a B2B

We are 30 days out and can’t select a group.  Not losing sleep over it, but will the app ever work correctly?  At least most passengers who report state that shoreside personnel are not checking arrival groups.

Update!

We are at 29 days away from our cruise today and viola!!  Boarding groups were available.

Only 2 slots left for the Early slot so I grabbed them.  Now we cross our fingers that everything doesn’t go Poof! - back to square one!!  🤣😂

I had been checking for days and one day I was suddenly assigned to the earliest group. I think it was around 25 days when there was finally groups available

I’m on a December 17 cruise on the Ruby & I can’t check in yet for my arrival times yet. I don’t think there is any system. It varies depending on the cruise.

They just let us select our boarding time 69 days out !

We had ours out of San Pedro surprisingly at 74 days out

Just picked ours today for March 6th....

Checked everyday and finally on the 60th day from sailing was able to select Arrival Time and got earliest time of 11 am and got bar-code boarding pass on phone seconds later.  This is for a Feb 27th sailing of  Caribbean Princess.

 There doesn’t seem to be any set timeframe.  Maybe it depends on port you are sailing from?  Our January cruise out of Fort Lauderdale had arrivals ready to select 34 days from embarkation.

I wouldn't worry about boarding time.  We were on the Dec. 20th Enchanted and were in the Group B time slot.  We arrived in the A time frame and 15 minutes later were on board.   Have all your paper work, passport/medallion ready and you'll be good to go.  

Our capacity was 1,840 passengers per the captain on a ship that holds 3,600 passengers.  It was great!

Thanks for all the feedback everyone.  I'm glad to hear everyone is having different experiences.  I though it was just me that couldn't select a time yet.  We're still 80 days away so I'll stop checking so much..LOL
