Rare pierces Posted December 6, 2021 #1 Share Posted December 6, 2021 Pictures taken between Monday, December 6 and Sunday, December 12. Official Summer starts in two weeks or so. Spring photo season is fading fast! (Southern Hemisphere focus this week.) Rules: See above That's it. This isn't a contest. All photos taken this week are welcome (not just cruising). Prizes will not be awarded. Discovering the joy of photography is the prize. The idea is to get folks out using their cameras for more than vacations and toddler birthdays. Post one. Post many. Up to you. Have fun with your camera and share your fun with others!

boeckli Posted December 12, 2021 #3 Share Posted December 12, 2021 Official summer started here on December 1, so I was a little surprised to come across these on my neighbourhood walk this afternoon - but then we have had a fair bit of rain lately ...
Rare pierces Posted December 12, 2021 Author #4 Share Posted December 12, 2021 A weekend trip to Santa's Village located high in the local mountains was a welcome return to normal with crowds of happy people enjoying a bit of the social freedom so despised by the Powers That Be. Matthew and Jackie took their skates and had a great time on the site’s outdoor rink. They have both gone from rail-hangers to accomplished skaters in the couple of years since they both had their first skating experience there. Matthew was happy to just zoom around but Jackie had to try out all of her moves, much to the amazement of onlookers. We were bombarded with questions about how long she had been skating and Kassi had fun correcting me when I told everybody that miraculously it had only been a couple of hours. Oakman58 Posted December 16, 2021 #6 Share Posted December 16, 2021 This is one of my favorite pictures from our Dec 5 - 12 cruise on the NCL Bliss because you can see one of the officers on the bridge watching the sunset too. This sunset picture was taken on Dec 8th in Puerto Vallarta.
zackiedawg Posted December 27, 2021 #7 Share Posted December 27, 2021 Took me a while to catch up on loading photos from this weekend - I had spent the 10th through the 15th in Disney World, then since I got back, it was catching up from work, last minute Christmas shopping, then Christmas, and so on! Finally, I can post up some of the shots I took on Saturday the 11th and Sunday the 12th at Disney World: Magic Kingdom's giant Christmas tree on Main Street: Cinderella's Castle with 50th anniversary decor, and Christmas too: Magic Kingdom Riverboat Landing at dusk: Cinderella's Castle at night with stunning Christmas lighting: I noticed these girls still in their parade outfits posing on Main Street in front of the castle, and decided to take the shot facing the other way towards the Christmas tree: Monorail passing over Epcot: Sunset over World Showcase Lagoon at Epcot, with the Harmonious floats in position: The view from my table at Hacienda De San Angel restaurant, sitting on the lagoon, with dusk skies outside: Spaceship Earth viewed through the Torii gate of the Japan pavilion:
