tbo Posted December 31, 2021 #1 Share Posted December 31, 2021 Balance is and has been paid in full for weeks, I got an email over night that we have a balance due and the email itself shows a $0.00 balance. I've recently watched a video of a guy who was denied boarding because of a similar situation and had quite a time getting it sorted-like 2 hours on the phone at the terminal before finally getting on board. Guess I'm making a phone call, that is a waste of my time and theirs. First RCI cruise-so far not impressed with their procedures. I know times are not "normal" right now, but this is just crazy. tbo Posted December 31, 2021 Author #3 Share Posted December 31, 2021 Thanks Biker. I called, knowing they were going to say it looks good on their side. They resent my invoice showing no balance.
Rare Itchy&Scratchy Posted December 31, 2021 #4 Share Posted December 31, 2021 if you look or search this board, you will see that's it's been pretty common in the last several months. I sent a PM through FB messenger and it was corrected in 48 hours.
Rare twangster Posted December 31, 2021 #5 Share Posted December 31, 2021 The travel agency I use has received two threats of non-payment from Royal this week for cruises that have their final payment due more than one week from now. IT and back office process is not a strength at the Royal Caribbean Group.
fliprcruiser Posted January 1, 2022 #6 Share Posted January 1, 2022 I got a balance due last week for $232. Evidently they changed me to prepaid gratuities after final payment. Weird, but credit card covered it.
Ashland Posted January 1, 2022 #7 Share Posted January 1, 2022 You can also check your cruise planner...Mine says paid in full no balance due.
Ocean Boy Posted January 1, 2022 #8 Share Posted January 1, 2022 Just pick a number and send RCI and email telling them what they owe you.
