I might have that view in two weeks if, somehow, things actually work out.

I hope things work out for you, nothing like getting a break from the cold temperatures while drinking cocktails on the sunny deck.

I have so many credits to use up but until I can be guaranteed I won’t be quarantined anywhere I will sit and freeze.

It appears you are a day early to St Maarten due to on-board scheduling changes.  How does that work for those that have excursions paid/planned in advance - both private at thru RC?

They automatically moved the excursion to today if it was going to run. Appears most if not all did.

Other islands they refunded.

what time is it and boy never saw it this empty.  Any nudes around😁

There were only about 20 on our excursion. In the past, would have been 2+ bus loads.

We stay away from that side of the beach. One lady who walked down said they are all in their 70's plus.

That's what I saw of a lot the last time we ventured to OB and that was before the hurricane devastated the island.

Not sure you can ever be guaranteed you won't be quarantined.  I believe if there is a Norovirus outbreak they also require passengers to quarantine.

Thanks for sharing. We’ll be on the Allure end of march. I must say the ship looks kinda eerie and lonely without the crowd but also nice at the same time. I actually enjoy company. Seeing other people having fun on the ship also makes me happy.  I’d say ~50% passenger capacity is the sweet spot.

Being at around 42% it pretty much depends on where you are on the ship. Some places jumping others sparse.

That is actually rather nice. One can have some peace and tranquility, if that is what they are in the mood for, without retreating to their cabin. Then if they want more action simply take a walk to the appropriate venue.

Had a great day with Bernard's tour. Even though we were a day early, no problem changing. It was us and 4 other people on the excursion, 2 from Mein Schiff, one local guy, and us.

First up was the iguana place 20220111_091645.thumb.jpg.31da9be1508dd310e4eb45a35185ccac.jpg20220111_091648.thumb.jpg.140f71c23636e927cd747d435ad70dac.jpg20220111_091651.thumb.jpg.7fe0825830d0ddaba0d2e4aa2970dfcb.jpg

After that, we spent time at orient Beach. Went in the water for a bit, it was refreshing but really wavy. I took a walk down the beach and hit the nude part. Don't think I saw a single person under the age of 70. -1 out of 5 on the yelp review 😂

Followed by a stop at marigot and we stopped at Sandy's for some jerk food

After we headed to Maho for a bit. I would have preferred to stay at Maho longer than orient but maho was packed.

Got back on the ship a bit ago and now getting some snacks at Johnny rockets

Are you staying over night? We had friends on last week and that’s what they did.  Anyone every visit Juggie’s, Smallet Bar in the World.  In the alley by the Catholic Church.  He offers 2 beers and a cigar for $1.99.  And lots of BS.  Fun place to drop husbands off while you go shopping ladies.
