You are bringing back great memories from just a month ago!

Though I have seen mixed reviews we got great steaks at Fine Cut Restaurant; 6 and 9 oz filets were excellent. Ate there three times in 14 days!

We have also had great meals at Fine Cut.

Day 2

Breakfast by the sea.  I was hesitant about the infinite verandah set up but I actually love it.  It’s an a extension of the the room so we actually have more usable space and it’s easier to have breakfast on the “balcony” now.

The only thing I turned down at Fine Cut was the bottle of wine for $100,000!
I asked how much for a taste from two eye drops; $1,000 per drop 😳

WOW!  Now I have to ask to see that bottle.  Although I am surprised you did not splurge lol… two drops for $2000.00.  How do you even taste anything from two drops 😂

On the Edge, Tiffany’s is located in the walkway to Eden. Not sure if it’s on Apex, but I bet some expensive store is there.

On the Apex Montblanc is in the location that Tiffany's is on the Edge. There's no Tiffany's on Apex, only Cartier and Bulgari.

When you check in at Fine Cut, look to your left at the glass front where the wine is stored. The $$$ bottle is in the wooden box.

I have very sensitive taste buds. That’s why when I was a child I did not eat any green or yellow vegetables! Wait, I am still a child 😀

Living our cruise through you. We were 10 girlfriends that were to sail March 2020. Well that didn’t happen. We were 6 for this sailing but we cancelled. Being Canadians we have so many more hurdles. We need PCR test to return home. CDC changed isolation time (as many provinces) but to fly home if test positive is 14 day quarantine as airlines follow federal rules. I was on Reflection November and wonderful but Omicron has changed so much right now.

sorry you had to cancel but I’m not sure what you mean on the hurdles because you’re Canadian? You need a PCR test and that’s it.  If you’ve tested positive it’s a 10 day isolation starting from the day of the test.  I suppose the only real risk is having to Quarantine in Florida which in my mind keeps me away from the Canadian winter that much longer!  The real pain is the second test you may be required to do upon arrival back in Canada.  Especially if you’re are already showing a negative test… not sure how the geniuses came up with that logic but I digress… back to this great review!

Yeah I totally get it.  I got dizzy trying to read the reentry requirements for Canadians.  Though there are quite a few on this voyage.  They were determined no matter the hurdles.

How is the Internet? Is the streaming choppy, cutting in and out or would it be possible to join a Zoom meeting? Thanks!

I am not sure how streaming is because I am on the classic Wi-Fi.  I was told I might not be able to post on CC due to the classic Wi-Fi but so far so good!

Okay, now that will be an adventure for elegant chic night tonight.  We will dress sharp so we don’t get escorted out 😝

Day 2 Sea Day

The gym was empty this morning around 9AM.  You can easily socially distance if you want to but all machines are on.  No one is hassling any one exercising without a mask but most people had it ready as they move from machine to machine.  The Solarium was also fairly empty around 11AM.

What is your itinerary?  Any changes to the ports as of yet?  Our itinerary on 1/29 is supposed to be San Juan, St Kitts and St Thomas.

Ports were already swapped a few weeks ago and notified ahead of time via email.  We swapped out Grand Cayman and Key West for Costa Maya and Nassau.

Is there any way you can find out the number of guest on the next cruise? Doing a back to back and am quite nervous about cruising at this time. I’m sure there probably is no way but if you can I would so appreciate it. Thank you.

I will see if I can work that into a conversation with someone in the know and get back to you if I can.  I seriously doubt that the number would be very high though.

Sounds like you are having a wonderful cruise!  I am loving all the photos!  I actually love the fact that they provided you with a bag for your mask at the dinner table.  We were actually going to bring a few bags with us to put our masks in while we ate.  Let me know if they continue to do that.  Thanks.

They offered a bag at Tuscan without asking, it was more insistent than a suggestion.  I will continue to post my to go bag for the mask at dinner time.  They do not offer that at Oceanview.
