Vaccine Exemptions

Has anyone 18+ received a vaccine exemption?

Heard of a couple of people sailing out  of California getting religious exceptions but besides that........nope.

Nope - cause just like every other program Carnival offers (mainly CHEERS) - there are going to be people using the exemptions to game the system.

Genuinely curious what you mean by that? 
 

how are people gaming the system?

The problem is that I don’t think you’ll find out until shortly before sailing. They need to give exemptions to children who can’t get vaccinated. If they give adults exemptions earky then they would have to not allow families with children book close to sailing

They also need to know how many vaccinated people are sailing to know how many exemptions they can give

yep, more reason to save what may be limited spots for children.

 

I have heard of adult getting exemptions. But not in months. And the ones that did sounded like they got them a few days ahead

Just keep in mind that exemptions for non-vaccinated cruisers who are eligible for vaccination are only for those who are unable to get the vaccine due to medical reasons due to requirements of the islands they sail to.
