Taking on drinks

First time on Celebrity and sailing from Southampton. How strict are they about taking on alcohol on embarkation?.

We have drinks included, but we like a drink while getting ready for dinner or sitting on the balcony.

We will not be taking it anywhere else on the ship.

Don't risk it will be confiscated

2 bottles wine per stateroom are allowed plus as much water as you can carry.

Only 12 cans of water now (yes cans, no plastic bottles allowed)

You can only take 2 bottles of wine, officially. If you have a package nothing to stop you taking drinks back to your room from bars, if you want mixers ask for them not opened.

Did not know this. Thought it was as much as you can carry. I took 8 large cans of San Pellegrino.
