Casino Offers are being Reduced

Over the past week we saw our great casino offers disappear and at one point over the weekend we had zero offers available.  Yesterday we saw new casino offers appeared but they are significantly reduced which we expected would happen as Carnival got busier with stronger bookings or the number of our used offers reached a certain point.    As background we have indeed taken advantage of a number of these offers and we played extensively in the casino on each of those cruises.  We also have a number of the most generous offer “Plan Now Sail Later” booked for the coming months.  While we suspect that our offers will remain tight for awhile but hopefully will increase as the data of our play begins to impact our history.  We are certainly not complaining as we get it and as a couple who enjoy playing in the casino the offers we were getting under Plan Now Play were actually good enough that we literally canceled casino cruises we had booked with other cruise lines in order to accept these lucrative offers from carnival.   It was simply money that as gamblers we couldn’t leave on the table.  So our question is what are the casino junkies seeing and wondering if others are seeing this tightening of offers or we simply had booked enough of the best offers to have shut off the best offers.   This is one of the reasons we like these boards and knowledge can be powerful tool.

I'm not sure in regards to your situation, but  I still receive offers everyday-from$500 to $1000 fun play, free suites,  elite offers for both U.S. and Australia, etc. and due to various situations, my last  cruise was over 7 years ago.

Maybe they are still trying to get you back!  😁

All of my casino offers are still showing on the website.  They expire at the end of the month.  I know once you use an offer it will disappear from your profile.  I believe you can only use each offer one time.  I guess I will see on March 1st if the offers get worse.

I have many casino offers to chose from.  DD (who cruises with me) also gets them, but at lesser "perks" than mine.  And DH - who hasn't cruised CCL in over 5 years - is now getting emails almost every day with pretty good casino offers!  No rhyme or reason to how they decide who gets what.

I still have four showing, yet my husband's have now disappeared. I always book the really great offers right away in case they are capacity controlled- my husband and I both had Jackpot deals with free rooms so booked a few b2b's. I've used a couple Hot Streak Bonus and still have it showing.

There is no rhyme or reason behind why they seem to come and go it seems.

Humm, thanks for the information.   We didn’t have the experience of having the offers disappear after using them and we have successfully used the same offer numerous times so I have no reason complaining.  My offers also kept getting extended and even got a new email with the same offer just a few days before they disappeared.  Probably my biggest surprise is we got a “great” Funderstruck Casino offer on Saturday and on Sunday before I even had a chance to consider it.  Looked again today and it still didn’t reappear.  I am certain Carnival has spoiled me and only time will correct this.  Thanks for the feedback so far.  And yes before it’s suggested I am going to email the casino folks and at least ask about why FUnderstruck disappeared in less then 24 hours.  Thanks again!

We gambled a bit more on our Miracle NYE cruise, ended up down only about $250 and are getting a ton of casino offers. We booked a Radiance cruise next month and maybe an Alaska this summer with our deals. We got the free balcony offers and drinks on us and OBC. Will likely spend less this time though since smoking is back....

I have more casino offers than ever before.  Multiple e-mails and regular mail every single day.  Some are for cruises through 2024.  Free in a balcony, DOU anywhere and $1000 fun play.

They can keep them all.  No interest right now.  When masks and testing are a thing of the  past, OK.

Until then, I don't care about cruising.

I had 3 Cruises with free balconies booked for 2022 with 2 with $500, 1 with $1000.  TWO FJ7 and one FVB, An elite offer popped up for a free SUITE. So, we are doing back-to-back Alaska cruises on two different ships one day apart

i don’t see any decrease in offers. In fact, the opposite.  I used to only get interior offers. Now, balconies.  Along with more $.  And I have only cruised once since the pandemic.

My travel agent thinks we will see offers like these for quite a while to come.

My friend has a casino offer that is good through April, 2024.  We are considering the Carnival Freedom to Alaska from Seattle in August, 2023.  The total cost for the two of us in an oceanview cabin is $697!    I have been to Alaska twice.  She has never been.  This offer includes an onboard credit and Drinks on Us.

We were on the Carnival Sunrise to NE/Canada in September, 2919.  While it wasn’t my favorite, most of it was fine.

I think we will book this.  Too good to pass up.

Thanks for the feedback as it has all a been somewhat helpful but I have decided it’s simply best not to try and figure it out.  I have watched my offers disappear on almost daily basis since Sunday to just as suddenly reappear.  We are in the middle of booking a 4 day Casino offer and comparing my wife’s offers to my offers and one offer to another.  We have one offer for me that it $200 better then the others that strangely appears and then it disappears.  I finally got the stars to aline and placed it on hold till morning as we continue sorting out this ever changing landscape.  In closing I just read on another thread in this Carnival Board that this person stated he just got a great Casino Offer which seemed to amaze him as he says he does gamble.  This was what told me to stop trying to figure this thing out.  But thanks again!!!

Hello Everyone.  I'm new to the Jackpot Casino Offers and just booked (2) cruises, one that has the FJ7 offer and the other has FS1.  I cannot find anything on the site that gives me the rundown of what "up to a suite" and "up to a balcony" means.  One of the cruises is a balcony and the other an interior... do these offers mean that the room I'll be assigned closer to time of cruise will be a Suite and a Balcony?  It's a tad confusing. Help?

FJ7 Carnival Panorama 11.19-11.26 Interior
FS1 Carnival Magic 12.23-12.31 Balcony

"Up to a whatever" means based on availability you could get up to that category at the time of booking.  On a popular/more heavily booked sailing though only a lower category will likely be available, if any cabins at all with that offer.

I guess you could get upgraded by chance, but it wouldn't be based on the fact that you had booked an offer "up to a whatever."  It's definitely not a guaranteed upgrade if you weren't able to book "up to a whatever" in the first place.

Whatever the posted price is for the cabin category is what you will pay. Generally the suite is for shorter, older ships, or on a newer ship it will be for a slow booking cruise date.
