I drank quite a few of them. Can't remember if the other two were. Glad to see some pics. We're on Jewel this Nov (b2b) and Oct/Nov 2023 b2b to Quebec and back. I've checked out a few videos and it's nice to see all the indoor seating since we'll be needing it for Canada/NE next year. This will be our first time on Radiance class. Agree, Beautiful Pictures. Me, 35yrs Cruising havent done anything but Radiance Class in last 20. Love my longer 10+ niter Caribbean and Repos usually doing these in B4B's. Nice Class, easy get around nice size and setup. Will enjoy them until replaced with only larger Ships. Will be my First on Jewel this Apr-May, would like do that Canada and see it followed with Repo to Caribbean... Rare livingonthebeach Posted February 24, 2022 Author #153 Share Posted February 24, 2022 Went to A Taste Of Royal for lunch today. The food and wine pairing was exquisite! Had such a blast talking to my table mates I forgot to take pics of the food. We were from South Florida, Central Florida, South Carolina and Upstate New York. We all instantly connected and had an awesome time! I did mange to take a pic of the menu.

Is the Canada repo what they call the snowbird cruise? If so, I’ve heard great things about it. I’m tempted to book it.

The Canada one next year has amazing ports, a few we've been to, a few we haven't.

It's not really a repo for Oct 2023 because the ship isn't staying in Quebec. The ship leaves from NJ on 20 Oct and arrives in Quebec on 30 Oct. It then leaves the same day and returns to NJ. It's 10 days for each cruise.
Rare livingonthebeach Posted February 24, 2022 Author #162 Share Posted February 24, 2022 Someone asked on another thread if there were any violinists onboard. I can confirm we have a classical guitarist and violinist duo on this sailing of the Jewel in the Centrum.

Rare livingonthebeach Posted February 25, 2022 Author #164 Share Posted February 25, 2022 Dinner at Chops tonight. For starters I had the Beef Carpaccio Followed by the Petite Filet Mignon with red wine sauce and a baked potato. Scrumptious meal as always.
Rare livingonthebeach Posted February 25, 2022 Author #165 Share Posted February 25, 2022 So sad to be disembarking tomorrow morning. All in all the cruise met my expectations and then some. Met some wonderful people and had a great time! The only downside was no production shows, spotty Internet and no paper cruise compass (can be prearranged with cabin steward on day one). Otherwise everything else was terrific and you couldn’t beat the price! Will definitely sail Jewel again and again.

Go to guest services once onboard and let them know. You can also opt for self assist which means you carry your own luggage out and get off whenever you want. They were not even checking tag numbers today so people who didn’t have flights to catch got off pretty much whenever they wanted even if they were assigned a number. Have fun on your cruise! You’ll be on the one right after the Salsa Dance charter I suppose. Enjoy!!
