Some Enchanted Evening - A pictorial review of the Enchanted Princess in the Southern Caribbean

A couple of things that we forgot to mention . After the previous nights dinner we both had some indigestion and GI issues so we needed a quite day and a bland lunch . Perhaps too much rich food or too much drink . We also forgot that we had a call from the Dine Line letting us know that we were invited to the Winemakers dinner on Valentines day and the Chef's Table on the 15th . So we needed to go easy with the rich food for a couple of days and we had 4 busy ports in a row .

The Regal just left Port Everglades for a 5 day cruise followed by the Sky on a weeks cruise , both in the Western Caribbean .

@Happy2cruise, DH ordered sangria at Gigi's and got it (twice!).  It looked like the waiter had to go over to Bistro sur la Mer to fetch alcoholic drinks....

After a nap we went up to the World Fresh Market for a look

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We were only interested in one thing

 

 

Sconed again with tea

 

 

While eating we saw a Seaplane lift off .

Loved Maureen O 'Hara in the Quite Man (DW has Irish ancestry) . My dad  was a radioman in the Navy on the PBY seaplanes in WW II . Interesting that Maureen was buried next to her husband in Arlington instead of Ireland . DW's uncle who was a twin to her mom is also buried in Arlington as a result of a bomber crash in the European theater .

On the previous day we forgot to mention something happened . At about 1500 the Captain's voice came on the air in the hall . He informed us that we had an engine failure and that all the elevators went to the 7th floor which is what they are designed to do and reset .

The bridge is the lower left of the photo where the water passes under the rock

 

 

 

The water was pretty in this area and they have souvenir shops . BTW they have seashells for sale that you can't bring back into the US legally .

We are cruising on Enchanted on Deck 17 all the way forward and I cannot find any laundry services on that floor.  Am  I missing something?

There is none on  Deck 17 as its a short deck.

It looks like you have to go down to Marina (15) and all the way aft. I don't think there are any forward laundromats.

Thank you for posting your detailed review and photo/videos.   Adding it here in the forum gives everybody the opportunity to reply and ask questions.  👍🏻   
We join the ship March 20th for 20 nights and have a similar itinerary.  We have done over 50 cruises but with a long break from Florida and Caribbean ports we are looking forward to relaxing In the sunshine once more.  Even with all the extra testing and paperwork!
