QA maiden voyage is $3,200 USD for 7 nights??? That's $460 USD/night for entry level balcony. We booked Silversea for less, and they include everything (all drinks, internet, gratuities, specialty restaurants, excursions etc)

And they will sell out completely.

Where did you find such an amazing deal? Our Silversea for next year is significantly more. (And they only include some specialty restaurants, not all.)

Yes, they are typically more expensive. But even around $600-700 USD/night, still a much better deal than $460 on Cunard when you account for all inclusions.

Yes, I know that Cunard fans are very excited about the new ship, but $460/night for Cunard for an entry level cabin is insane.

P.S. Maiden cruises on Oceania new ship Vista are less than $400 pre night, and they also include much more than Cunard. And you cannot really compare Cunard with Oceania.

Entry level balconies on the UK site seem to be £1599

I'm sure many are, but equally there have been many negative comments about her on here.

More negative than positive. We're  not particularly excited about the new ship at all.

Interesting. Are we talking about the same sailing?

What's wrong with it? First new ship for Cunard since 2010 I think, right?

Yes, the Maiden.

Why aren't we particularly excited?

Ship is  bit bigger with almost 1000 more passengers

Strange QG restaurant and Grills lounge layout

As we haven't seen the interior, I can't add any more apart from it's a gut feeling.

That's not to say never, but we decided not to sail on the Maiden and will let others go and report back.

Yes, we are talking about the same sailing. Just be aware in case you weren't already that your prices above are being quoted in Canadian dollars. Here are the prices in US dollars showing the entry level price for a Britannia Balcony at $2,399 per person for Queen Anne's Maiden Voyage.

Yes, you are right. They mention it only on final checkout, and the site URL has no indication that's it's Canadian site.. So yes, this makes more sense, although $460 CAD is still not cheap. We just booked a cruise on Oceania new ship Vista at $445 CAD night. Oceania Riviera and Marina are typically around $400 CAD or less.
