rollie Posted February 23, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2022 I'm aware that there is a suite lounge at terminal 24, but what about the other terminals that Celebrity uses? Rollie

SHIP TRAVELER Posted February 23, 2022 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2022 At Terminal 29 (old) on Feb. 5th cruise there was a curtained off area with folding chairs just past security. There was no signage (IMHO) for this area. We were late due to cancelled flights and arrived at 2:00 so there were no lines and no one to direct you to the suite area. We were checked in when we went to the general area and then someone from the "suite lounge" was alerted and we were taken on board because we were in a RS. We really didn't enter the curtained area so I am not sure of the amenities inside. If you are there early and there are lines I would inquire about suite check in with every terminal person you meet. I think that you be taken to the lounge area for check in like with T25 after security.
danceswithphones Posted February 23, 2022 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2022 We sailed from 29 and were in a PH on the Constellation. Barely got inside the door before someone escorted us directly to Michael's.
NCHPcruiser Posted February 23, 2022 #5 Share Posted February 23, 2022 The Apex and Edge are currently using Terminal 25. I’ll find out next month about a suite lounge but hopefully someone else might chime in so I’ll know what to expect. I do know that there is a separate suite entrance to the left of the main entrance at T 25 (from another thread).

Jeremiah1212 Posted February 23, 2022 #7 Share Posted February 23, 2022 The question is geared to other terminals aside from 25 which would be Terminal 29. There is a curtained off waiting area there. It will not look like the photo above from T25.

Apex and Edge usually sail out of Terminal 25 as well as many of the other ships if one of the E Class isn't in port. At the Suite entrance to the terminal there will be an agent who will check you Boarding Pass and Vac Certificate. They will then direct you to an Elevator about 100 feet ahead. At the elevator they had another agent again check your boarding pass and puts you on the elevator that takes you up to the Lounge. Make yourself comfortable and one of the Concierges will do your checkin at your seat and then depending on Room Type will either be directed to the ship or will have you escorted to the Retreat Lounge on the ship. As a Zenith we are always escorted even if not in a Suite, but don't know if SS are now escorted or not. I would think so as part of the Retreat treatment.

I agree that it is not a longe, but there is a separate waiting area with snacks and non-alcoholic beverages for suite guests at Terminal.
Rare chemmo Posted February 27, 2022 #12 Share Posted February 27, 2022 What is Miami like checking in as a PH suite guest. Years since we cruised from there….

We are on the Silhouette in March 2023…As a port we generally prefer cruising from Fort Lauderdale but having enjoyed Silhouette so much last year we compromised on port over ship. We are not up to date on hotel choices either, lots of lovely planning homework to do!

We have done a few M class PH cruises, the balcony is definitely the best in the fleet! Room wise we love the S classes decadence of light and space…No wrong PH choices! Totally agree with your wife that planning really is part of the pleasure of the cruise. Even when we cruise from the UK we will often fit in a short stay in a town or village on our way to Southampton…often looking for the unique pub or country house rather than a chain brand. Hope you enjoy your planning… Edited February 27, 2022 by chemmo
