FYI, there will be two Evening Chic nights.  People dress more casually on Alaskan cruises.

Yes, we were more concerned about layered clothes in Alaska. We were in AQ which does not do Evening Chic.

We just did an Alsaka cruise this summer.  I would say that most people didn't dress up too much for evening chic compared to other cruises.  We dined in Luminae, and most people were in jeans or just regular dining out attire.  I think it is just due to the amount of casual clothes you take to Alaska??????  Not sure.

The only dining room with official suggested Chic Dress Code is the MDR.

Blu, Luminae and all the Specialty dining rooms are officially Smart Casual every night.   Having said that many choose to dress up on Chic nights and find it very festive regardless of which dining room they dine in.   The definition of Chic night was personal choice.
