Grahambythesea Posted March 3, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 3, 2022 It’s been a while since we did a 7 night cruise with Celebrity, preferring longer sailings. Taking some friends on an Alaskan cruise in June and they’ve never been with Celebrity. How many chic nights can we expect on a 7 nighter?

Rare keesar Posted March 3, 2022 #4 Share Posted March 3, 2022 FYI, there will be two Evening Chic nights. People dress more casually on Alaskan cruises.

Yes, we were more concerned about layered clothes in Alaska. We were in AQ which does not do Evening Chic.
Rare Shiba_Lover Posted March 3, 2022 #6 Share Posted March 3, 2022 We just did an Alsaka cruise this summer. I would say that most people didn't dress up too much for evening chic compared to other cruises. We dined in Luminae, and most people were in jeans or just regular dining out attire. I think it is just due to the amount of casual clothes you take to Alaska?????? Not sure.
Grahambythesea Posted March 3, 2022 Author #7 Share Posted March 3, 2022 Thanks everyone, most helpful. On first Alaskan you still had black tie nights! We still enjoy making a little effort to make the evenings different from the day time.

Blu, Luminae and all the Specialty dining rooms are officially Smart Casual every night. Having said that many choose to dress up on Chic nights and find it very festive regardless of which dining room they dine in. The definition of Chic night was personal choice.
