The Key package....

Thanks for the info everyone. I'm sailing solo, so it will be just for me. If it's for 2 devices, that would be even better, as I can take my laptop and use my phone via Wifi.

It is one device per person so sailing solo would only get you a single device package.  I had the Key one time back when it first came out in April of 2019.  I said I'd never bother again.  I just looked at for my upcoming Ovation cruise in August and did the math.  I remember why I said never again.  I just can't seem to find the value in it.

Thanks. I'm sure I will get some value in the package.... even if it's a single device. If the internet speed is good enough, I can send photos to my family whilst I am on my down time.

Would you really need 2 devices if you are solo?  One device means you can only be online with one device at a time.  Are you wanting to have two devices logged on at the same time?

It doesn't matter how many devices you have with you, the one device plan means you only USE one at a time.

Sorry I wasn't clear.  I meant value for the whole package.  When you deduct the price of the internet that you would pay if you purchased it seperately and then look at the remaining cost and for the remaining perks offered I just don't see value in it.  Especially with the improved embarkation experience with reserved times.

My Phone and my Laptop. I prefer to use my laptop when I am writing, and my phone for when I am talking. Also, I will be taking photos with my camera, so will need to back up my photos to my computer during the trip.....

I probably won't get value from all aspects of the package, but I can only really judge the value based on my own experiences and usage. The only thing I may not make use of is the Lunch, especially if there isn't really a Vegetarian option that I can eat. But I am one of those people who would prefer to get on the ship as soon as possible, so whilst the cost of that may be expensive, I would probably value that in my own way.

We always have multiple devices (2 laptops, 2 iPads, 2 iPhones), but have never needed to have more than one device online at a time.  We've always used a cord to transfer photos from phone to computer or ipads and don't need internet for that.   I guess your needs are different!

Strictly speaking I don't need 2 devices online at the same time.... 1 device online is enough. However, I misread a previous post as suggesting that there is 2 packages, which I didn't assume was linked to having 2 packages per room (as in 1 package per person).
