Enchanted Princess sailings after May 4 pulled from website

I'm on the April 9 Enchanted transatlantic that ends May 4 in Copenhagen.  Obviously we have received our changed itinerary omitting St. Petersburg so that's not the problem.  Earlier this AM several people posted here that Enchanted is showing up on the port schedule in Southampton on May 4 and now all Enchanted summer sailings after ours have been pulled from the Princess website.  The next one showing is in September out of New York for the New England cruises.

Do any of you know about this, possibly those on the sailing after ours?  I'm sure Princess is scrambling , but knowing our debarkation port would be pretty important right now.

Was booked on the fall transatlantic from Copenhagen. Hotels booked and EZ air  all in. took a look this morning and poof all up in the air. Flights , hotel and transfers all off my file. I quickly looked at flights with the actual airline and that reservation is still intact at this point.

I called Princess but the wait times were way too long. I figured it was probably an full deployment change, so I will sit put and take a wait and see approach.

Prior to covid I may have gone a little bonkers , but this could be my 5th rebooking and rescheduling in the past year and a half. I just want to get back again, as we all do. Hang in there everybody.

Enchanted is booked into Southampton throughout the Summer, starting May 4th. There are also other calls booked in Spain and Portugal, like Funchal Madeira in August. I believe she will be redeployed to Southampton and offer Mediterranean, Canary Island and France & Spain cruises.

My problem is we're supposed to disembark in Copenhagen on May 4.

This just posted from our April 9 FB group:

Has anyone received notification from Princess that this TA has been cancelled/changed?? I just received the following from my agent:

Enchanted Princess 2022 roundtrip Copenhagen cruises cancelled

Hi everyone, We have cancelled our 2022 Enchanted Princess® roundtrip Copenhagen voyages, May 4 through Aug 22, due to commercial considerations of this ship’s full season of Baltic cruises coupled with stronger demand for cruising from the United Kingdom. Enchanted Princess will now sail roundtrip from Southampton starting April 9, 2022.

But isn't the Apr 9 sailing out of Fort Lauderdale?  Can't sail from there AND from Southampton on Apr 9.  And then it begs the question - where will they send the last scheduled Baltic cruise - the one scheduled Aug 22, before the TA crossing.

We were scheduled on the Aug 22 Baltic cruise, but switched over to the British Isles on Emerald.  We will then fly to Copenhagen to board the Emerald for the crossing.  But who knows where we'll end up now!

The sailings from the US after its return from Europe (Including my NE/Canada in Oct) are still on the schedule, so I believe the absence of sailings out of Southampton may be due to rerouting issues.

Interesting. I am booked on the May 4 Baltic out of Copenhagen. Would be good to know if I need to change my flights. I was looking forward to spending some time in Copenhagen pre- cruise, so will be disappointed if we switch to a South Hampton embarkation. Direct flights from London to Boston are crazy expensive right now, so this could be the straw that pushes me throw in the towel on Northern Europe cruising this year.

I would be ok with the itinerary change but I just looked at one-way airfare from London and it's well over $2400 for me to my airport, $1996 from one that's 60 miles away.  My fare from Copenhagen was going to be $481.  Going to be hard to swallow!

Wife and I were scheduled for 2 September transatlantic Copenhagen to New York on Enchanted. Just received email dropping Copenhagen and changing departure to Southampton. Also dropped one Northern Europe stop. No info on flights.

Holy drama mama.  We pulled the plug on this cruise at final payment. It was covid that stopped us but this situation  in Russia/Ukraine is an absolute mess.  Probably good for ships to be pulled from Baltic. We would have been like most - airline tickets, hotels etc set up in Copenhagen for May 4 and a few days after.  I’m so sorry for those folks learning about this now

Wow… what a mess for those booked this summer.
Well, it was already becoming a mess with Russia invasion into Ukraine but, are things going be worse in the Baltics??

Obviously Princess doesn’t want to take any chances and I really can’t blame them for their risk management. Though I know many will be disappointed mostly after waiting through the pandemic.

Crazy times we are living through (and really sad also)

Enchanted redeployed to Southampton.

Princess Cruises has just announced that Enchanted Princess will be based out of Southampton from 4th May. She will sail round trip cruises, ranging from 4 to 14 to days, visiting Canary Islands, Mediterranean and Scandinavia. Cruises go on sale March 23rd.

Just to note, it looks as though the September TA is still running as planned, but starts in Southampton, rather than Copenhagen. Not sure about April?

Glad we dumped this back in November when I found a good escorted tour of Croatia with a really good discount as a replacement trip. We had all decided that we didn't want to go if St Petersburg wasn't included and it didn't look like Russia's borders were open at the time we made the decision.

First of all, thanks for the posting(s) and heads up regarding the everchanging Enchanted Princess itinerary. While I know things remain uncertain, it would appear that our August 22 cruise slated to leave Copenhagen will now have an altered (again) itinerary and leave from Southampton. For us this is desirable as we can spend time in London prior. Losing St. Petersburg was  a large disappointment but understandable. I saw the Princess website deleted any mention of these cruises although things still remain unchanged in our future cruise section.

We will likely have a final itinerary 'announced' on this site before Princess or our big box store TA advises us. We remain committed to this cruise as it is a sort of retirement 'celebration' and after losing SPB we really were (are) neutral as to the ports. Sadly I know this has only been a disruptive negative for many cruises on this vessel.
