Figures, just trying to give correct info to someone who asked, you are giving info in direct violation of Celebrity policy, not what this board is for.

George C  We are doing great just got back from a royal suite on summit it was a 70’s music cruise charter which we do every year, next cruise we have a corner aft sky suite on Beyond, most likely will try a move up 😁, hopefully we will cruise together again in the future.

RBKL We just got off the Equinox in a Sky Suite that we received from a Move up offer. So thankful for the opportunity.
The Retreat Concierges were amazing. Even escorted us off the ship through a back door in the Retreat lounge.

This is a 2 part question. We are on the equinox in May and the Summit in July. The Concierges can change by then but also can stay the same, can you both please share who was on board for your recent cruise. Thanks. (we think that a few may have moved over from the edge, hopefully!)

Thank you to the OP for starting this thread and thanks to others who've chimed in to explain the differences between "perks" and "amenities".

I basically have the same question but instead of a CS, I'd like to bid for a Sky Suite.

Does a MoveUp offer for a Sky Suite include the same Retreat amenities as a CS?   I would assume the only difference between the two is the size of the cabin but wanted to make sure.

I will try to get her name but she was totally great , charming and extremely prompt in all of our requests, funny thing is we saw our concierge from the edge in July in the retreat area he was promoted and supervised a few areas . We have a picture of him and whole retreat staff bringing my wife a birthday cake, flowers and wine for her 60th in our penthouse suite .

We were on the same 70’s music cruise as George C on the Summit in Feb.  (George, we are also booked for next year; I’ll buy you a free drink!). The Concierge (Retreat) host was Mar. she is a wonderful host and person!!

We sailed on the Equinox this month in a penthouse (thanks to the Move-Up from a sky suite) and the 3 Retreat Concierges were Connor, Laura and Yuliia. The Retreat manager was Jess and everyone was wonderful!!

Last Sunday we had first row vip tickets to see ex rock and romance stars Todd Rundgren, Christofer Cross, Jason Scheff , Joey Molland from badfinger doing mostly Beatles songs , got a picture with them and a signed poster , fantastic concert.

We are on Equinox now in a RS and have Ilyas as our Retreat Host aka butler.  He is terrible.  We have never had a butler that we have to call for everything.  I have to call for ice.  No afternoon snacks or afternoon tea I requested.  One more day and I am going to talk to Retreat Manager.  I do not like to get anyone in trouble but he is not good.  We do not ask for much.

One thing I have not seen mentioned that we really like with a suite, on embarkation day the Luminae will be open for lunch for all suite guests. The usual lunch menu will have a very tasty lobster roll that is not offered any other day.

While the OP will not get the Suites Premium drinks package, unless he upgraded it in the CS booking, you will still get any drinks available in the Retreat lounge regardless of cost.

Enjoy your Suite experience, but be warned, it will be very hard to go back to non-suite cruising. This is how we got hooked and only book suites now with Celebrity.

Explaining the dress code to someone who asked, shorts are not in the dress code for dinner, stop giving false info to people who ask legitimate questions.

I don't think someone is  not telling the truth about wearing shorts for dinner.

It was just the host or the manager not doing their job.

I did see people turn away and came back later with pant.

I hate to say this but last year on the Equinox I saw a couple men wearing shorts and tee shirts in Luminae for dinner one night.  I never saw anyone turned away but I am also someone who could care less what others wear, it doesn't effect my enjoyment of the cruise.

Lets not have this thread digress into another endless dress code discussion.

As was mentioned, the back door exit on disembarkation is great.

In the lounge, if you want a higher end liquor than what you see, ask about it. They may have it “ in the back”.

That was a nice extra when disembarking. On the Equinox last year the first afternoon I asked the  Retreat Lounge bar tender for an Old Fashioned and he apologized that they had not loaded any maraschino cherries on the ship. The next day when I came into the lounge he told me he had found some cherries for my old fashion drinks. He also found a bottle of Bullitt Bourbon which he did not have the first day when asked about it. They had Makers Mark and Woodruff Reserve which I was happy with too. This is typical of the service you get in the Retreat Lounge.

I recall you mentioning the Lobster roll only being on the first Luminae lunch menu.  It certainly has always been in the first day menu.  It either depends on the number of sea days or they have made a change.  In my experience Luminae has three or four menus that they rotate for lunch.  The Lobster roll was on one of the standard menus,  we saw it on multiple days on our 14 days and TA cruises.

I suspect the lunch menus will show on the AP.

Our 9 day Equinox cruise last year did not have the lobster roll any other day but the Embarkation day. I asked about it on day 8 as I thought they only had 7 day menus and our waiter confirmed that only day 1 had the lobster roll menu.  We have a 10 night cruise on the Reflection in August and the app only shows Luminae menus through day 7 and breakfast day 8, the rest of the days say "venue closed" which we all know isn't true. Even the MDR and specialty restaurants fail to show menus beyond day 7. Another Celebrity IT failure. I figured when we board the Day 8-10 menus will show up.

Unless there has been another change Luminae will only be open for lunch on embarkation day and sea days.

Do you see any repeat lunch menus?  Yes, I noticed last time in my 14 TA that they did not have all the menus initially loaded for all 14 days.  My wife and I like to look at the MDR and Luminae to optimize our Speciality Restaurant reservations.  I do not recall what day they appeared.

Now I am curious as to how many lunch menus are used.  As you mentioned, I also have always seen the Lobster roll on the Day 1 lunch menu.  I know they have more than one lunch menu.

That is still correct, same for the MDR. Last year on the Equinox in the Retreat my issue with that was on port days when we didn't or couldn't get off the ship, we only had the option of the buffets or the mast grill for lunch. On those same days we elected to have room service for lunch as I hate the buffet and it was to dang hot to eat at the mast grill while in port. Nassau did not allow anyone off the ship who wasn't on a ship sponsored excursions and it was so hot up on deck in port with little or no wind.

On edge last July it wasn’t on first days menu , they had it a couple of days after , I definitely asked didn’t want to miss it , I had a lobster roll Saturday at a local restaurant for almost 30 dollars and it wasn’t as good as celebrities. It was there first day on my other celebrity cruises. I never cruised in anything but a suite on celebrity, my first cruise we had booked a balcony and got a free upgrade to suite after that we just booked suites.
