Bed Placement Question

Recommended Posts

Is there a way to do an on line request to have the beds separated from a Royal King bed to two twin beds?  I thought it was somewhere in the Cruise Planner, but can’t find it.  I might be thinking about one of the other cruise lines where you change it online. We have two JS’s booked on the Wonder on April 1st and want the beds separated in one of the rooms.  I know we can ask the stateroom attendant after we get on board, but would like to save him the trouble of making up the beds only to have to take them apart and do it all over again on turnaround day.

We booked these rooms through the casino, so I could call them if it isn’t available on line, but hate to do that if it’s a simple thing I can do myself.  When we originally booked these rooms we were told that JS rooms on the Wonder were all king, other than a few on deck 8 that could be split.  We looked at Royal Caribbean's deck plan to verify this info.  It did show Junior Suites on Wonder incorrectly listed "One King bed".  Some time within the last two weeks the deck plan’s wording has changed to “Two twin beds that convert to a Royal King bed”

Thank in advance.

There used to be on RCI...but that disappeared some time ago. It really never got any notice. Just tell your cabin steward boarding day and they'll do it at turn down service night one.

Just note some suite categories only a king bed is available...no way to separate it.

You use to be able to do that online but now you have to call or just wait till you get on the ship and just ask your room steward. I called last week to purchase a drink package with exception and while on the call the rep saw that there had been no choice made and he put it in the system for me at that time.

Thanks for the quick answers.  Can always count on CC members.

I thought it used to be on line.   Glad to know I'm not going completely crazy.

When you are able to check in on the web site. You get to select single or double bed configuration.

I just dealt with this.....I actually just got off the phone RCCL (40 minute wait time) to ask about making the beds in one of our cabins to twins.   She said only they can do it, we can not change it on the website.  So she changed it for me.
