Rare mking8288 Posted March 28, 2022 Author #26 Share Posted March 28, 2022 Here's something renewed these days, meet the senior officers onboard the GA next Thursday, 6:30 pm at Spice H2O - outdoors, details still being worked out - TBA, presented by the Cruise next team. It's boring and all that ... Found out when I stopped by to get our new Latitude Sapphire pins and asked about BTS tour and other events onboard. Unofficially, they plan to stop by the CC Meet & Greet tomorrow, Cagney's at 11, knowing that we are expecting about 50 members to attend. We also got registered for Dine-with-the-Officers ... fingers crossed, things are now gradually resuming.
cruiservictor Posted March 28, 2022 #27 Share Posted March 28, 2022 So wonderful to see the Latitudes party (with officers) and the Dine With an Officer back again. Hope they are back for our April 25 crossing on the Escape. (We hope the Escape is back by then, too. ). Thanks for your great reporting, Henry. Looking forward to sailing the rest of the week with you.
Rare mking8288 Posted March 28, 2022 Author #28 Share Posted March 28, 2022 Getting late, been up early - cruising is "rough" & a bit stressful, challenging but we bet the odds. About to call it a night, busy Monday ahead - hope to confirm more specifics for folks sailing next week or soon, GA or otherwise. Sole TV uses HDMI-1 and it's on the bottom, with help of a flashlight, should easily swap your output HDMI to cast or playback one's own content. I got my wires here & will verify tomorrow or Tuesday. Done that on the BA and Escape. Please remember to properly reconnect to not give staff a difficult time to fix things. Satellite WiFi speed test results speak for itself - this is basic unlimited plan, good enough to remotely check our home security cams & Smart home controls. Be realistic about expectations, attempting to share or bridge signals with WiFi or MiFi router will just ... Most likely, due to this week's low GA occupancy level, Taste will remained closed but Savor will be open for its usual hours, along with Tropicana. Great & very attentive for our meal services. BTW, there are some children & teens sailing with parents this week, schools in recess. Masks are being worn by some, elevators aren't crowded except during boarding.

Haven & Spa club/balconies and suites basically sold out, upgraded, etc. Will post from time-to-time on interesting items to share, leave comments or questions - will read, post or best effort to answer. Traffic is good & smooth, going be there before 10. Happy Dance here for you guys. Glad you’re finally back on the high seas. Looking forward to your reviews.

Rare mking8288 Posted March 28, 2022 Author #41 Share Posted March 28, 2022 (edited) Two of our Latitude Sapphire friends that we met first 3 years old were right, this is really the best time to safely resume sea lives and cruising - just had lunch together in town, thanks Mary & Alex. Today's lunch and breakfast were good ... Menu in PDF in case someone wanted to get an idea, portion is petite but you are free to order as much as you can eat. And, the HDMI-1 port is good to cast from my small laptop to the Sole TV in the balcony. Currently, cruise 17 knots with small waves under 5 ft. and temp in low 60's. Rare mking8288 Posted March 29, 2022 Author #45 Share Posted March 29, 2022 Casual dining for us tonight, counter seating in front of the open kitchen - after the Captain's Cocktail Reception. Quick & simple comfort food, broth or soup stock are good. Fried pot stickers & spring rolls - passed our taste buds.Noodle_Bar_Mobile-Menu_V2.pdf Walk up to Burn The Floor, 9 pm show, didn't need to reserve ahead, how nice -; plenty of open seats to choose from.

Rare mking8288 Posted March 29, 2022 Author #47 Share Posted March 29, 2022 (edited) As I shared earlier, Captain's Reception is now back, returning to the Getaway, at least. Senior officers too, well represented with about 40 to 50 invited guests. We moved our dinner at Cagney's a day later, tomorrow evening as we decided to basically not go ashore. Good news, for interested Latitude Sapphire & Diamond members on the GA as Dine with the Officers is back, signed up w Latitude team on Sunday/Day 1. Just got the invite letter, Friday evening in the MDR. Edited March 29, 2022 by mking8288
Rare mking8288 Posted March 29, 2022 Author #48 Share Posted March 29, 2022 (edited) Freestyle Dailies - Day 2 and 3, only first 2 pages - if someone really need the other extras, I will post them. At midnight, ship on a SW heading of 220 degree at 20 knots, seas calm w small waves, wave height 4.9 ft. or 1.5m - a long way off the Georgia coast, air temp is 71 degree. Expected to get to PC by 1 p.m. ### Guests going ashore are reminded to bring proof of vaccination for Florida. BTW, Burn The Floor was excellent, high energy & dancers were great, really put out their best - standing ovation from the audience at the end of the 1 hour & 10 minutes show.
