Carnival Miracle Pizza Pirate No Longer 24/7

Guests currently aboard the Miracle report that the Pizza Pirate is now closed from 3am-8am. Can we expect this across the fleet? Maybe.

Well, I guess 3am is pretty late tbh.

 

I wish Carnival just had better late late food in general. I love cruising NCL for their O'Sheehans late night "dining".

Yes, Carnival could learn a thing or two about late night dining/snacking. There's no way if I'm up that late that I then want to wait an hour+ for room service. I'd be out by then !

 

Easy... open 1 buffet corner section and have premade/wrapped sandwiches and such there.

Following RCL perhaps?.. They close their pizzeria at 0300, but don't re-open until either 1030 or 1100...

The deli has more expensive ingredients, so they have very limited hours.

That should leave room service as the only option between 3:00 AM and 6:00 AM or 6:30 AM when continental breakfast starts.

Carnival Deli closes at 11:00pm, don't recall it being open 24 hours.

Correct, it was never 24 hours.

Makes sense to use that staff during peak times when hundreds of people are trying to get food vs the 8 people that might come between that time.

If Carnival doesn't want to have late night sandwiches or such available in part of the buffet, perhaps they could just install something like this (S&S card enabled or not)!

We're aboard Panorama now and the Pizzeria del Capitano place is doing the same thing, only open 19 hours instead of 24. Carnival will have to change their popular marketing strategy of offering pizza 24 hours a day.

You haven’t lived till you’ve stumbled out of the casino at 3am after a long night of winning, straight to the 24 hour pizza.

 

Well, admittedly I’ve only done this ONCE on a Carnival ship, but it was epic.

Good point. Currently the website shows 24/7 for Pizza Pirate and Pizzeria del Capitano.

Ah well.  24 hour pizza was a thing on our first CCL cruise in 1997.  That's a pretty good run.  Hope they re-think it.

Even back in my days of shutting the nightclub and blackjack tables down I don’t think I ever had pizza past 3am. I would like to see an increase in other areas though. Deli till midnight at a minimum.
