Changing Crown Grill Reservation

I've booked and paid for a meal in the Crown Grill on Sky Princess but would now like to change the reservation to a different date (same cruise just later in the week).

It seems fairly straight forward to cancel the booking and make the new one but I am concerned that they will ask for payment for this new reservation rather than transfer the payment I've already made.

Am I over thinking this?  Would it be simpler/safer to wait until I'm on board and change the reservation then ( at the risk of not getting the reservation I want)

Thanks for any help or insight you can offer.

We did exactly what you’re describing last week. They do indeed charge you for the new reservations immediately. Refund for the cancellation showed up about 48 hours later.

Thanks, that's really helpful. I think I'll give it a try. What's the worst that could happen?  🙂
