Marronnier Posted April 10, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2022 I've booked and paid for a meal in the Crown Grill on Sky Princess but would now like to change the reservation to a different date (same cruise just later in the week). It seems fairly straight forward to cancel the booking and make the new one but I am concerned that they will ask for payment for this new reservation rather than transfer the payment I've already made. Am I over thinking this? Would it be simpler/safer to wait until I'm on board and change the reservation then ( at the risk of not getting the reservation I want) Thanks for any help or insight you can offer. skynight Posted April 10, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 10, 2022 Might be easier to just wait until you board. Go to the Crown Grill on the afternoon of boarding day. 1
JF - retired RRT Posted April 10, 2022 #3 Share Posted April 10, 2022 I wonder is the online Chat person could change it for you? 2
stinsonm Posted April 10, 2022 #4 Share Posted April 10, 2022 We did exactly what you’re describing last week. They do indeed charge you for the new reservations immediately. Refund for the cancellation showed up about 48 hours later. 1

What's the worst that could happen? 🙂
EDDY0827 Posted April 10, 2022 #6 Share Posted April 10, 2022 Get charged twice?
diane.in.ny Posted April 10, 2022 #7 Share Posted April 10, 2022 Do it now. If you want to eat in a 6 to 7 time frame, reservations can be hard to get. Don't worry if you get double charged. They will just show up as credits on your cabin on board statement.
