BERMUDA VISA REQUIREMENT?

A friend told me that Bermuda started requiring a $40 VISA on April 1st for passengers on cruise ships that visit Bermuda.  Has anyone else heard about this?  I am scheduled to be on a ship that stops in Bermuda in July.  I am currently on a ship, but future cruise just tells me that they cannot help me.

This been in effect since last year. at that time it was 75 dollars. New this year they reduce the cost to only 40 dollars

It's not a visa, it's a travel authorization to prove you are vaccinated and test negative.
