CalLuvsCrusingToo Posted April 19, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2022 Princess Casino Comp bookers, What is the best way to Cancel an Oct. 2022 booking? I was able to Cancel & get refunded on our Sept. start of our B2B booking. But when it came to second half of B2B that happens in Oct.? They are saying its beyond Cruise with Confidence which ends in Sept., and I will lose our $200 pp but get back the taxes/port fees cuz its far enough away timewise. Seems theres No way to cancel without getting stuck for deposits. Saying, Non refundable. Any suggestions? Has anyone added travel Insurance, then able to cancel to get All refunded? negn Posted April 21, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2022 The $200 pp deposit is no refundable and they tell you that when you book through the casino
Cuedon Posted April 22, 2022 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2022 You can try escalating it. I had some luck with whatever they call the retentions department when they let me double book myself, then tell me there's nothing they can do about it when I called five minutes later after I noticed my calendar was on the wrong month. CalLuvsCrusingToo Posted April 25, 2022 Author #5 Share Posted April 25, 2022 Thanks for replies. In the past, I have had the opportunity to move our deposits to another cruise we were booking. But This time, (and it seems it depend on Who you talk to) didn't give me that option.... I will try calling again, and talk with someone else. I haven't heard of the Retentions dept. Cuedon Posted April 25, 2022 #6 Share Posted April 25, 2022 (edited) I don't remember what Princess calls them, but they're the equivalent of the people you get escalated to with complaints/cancellation threats that lower tier employees don't have the authority to handle with other companies... often referred to as retentions. In my case though, it was a call back literally minutes later, and I wasn't trying to cancel, but just change the booking to a time when I wasn't already on a different Princess ship. (You'd think the system would red-flag a scheduling conflict like that, but I guess not.) Edited April 25, 2022 by Cuedon

Since we do many casino offers with Royal, Carnival, & Princess, I have to make sure our bookings are not at the same time. I really need a secretary for that. (And now making sure we have time to test between)
CalLuvsCrusingToo Posted May 22, 2022 Author #8 Share Posted May 22, 2022 Wanted to tell my outcome. I was able to move ALL those funds from October Meditt cruise, to a CA Coastal cruise during the same time. This was done by having a new casino offer that needed to be booked. When I explained to Princess Casino Rep that we had no intention of doing EU cruise in Oct., but wanted to coastal comp cruise instead? She said, Oh I can do that for you. So I lost no $$, and lost No deposits. Just lucked into speaking with an experienced Casino Rep. and she handled it without prob.

I may have to cancel an upcoming cruise. I called 1-888-772-6697 and I was told that $200/person non-refundable would be gone. I'd only be credited the port fees + taxes. So, cancelling entire cruise $200 X 2 = $400 gone. Cancelling guest #2, $200 is gone. Replacing guest #2 is free of charge. I am planning to book another casino offer too. Is 1-888-772-6697 the number you called that helped you to save you your non-refundables? Did you do that the same time you were booking the second cruise? On one phone call, cancel the October Meditt cruise and book the CA Coastal cruise? This customer service line is a really pain.Any other tips you may have is appreciated. Globaler Posted March 16 #10 Share Posted March 16 Question - on casino deals I have booked I have had to pay in full by the next day. Is the the way it works? Didn’t mean to hijack your post.
