Please help picking an itinerary!

My wife and I are booking a cruise and are choosing between the following 2 itineraries: 

 

We have never visited any of these ports FYI and the prices are nearly identical. 

 

Option 1: 
7 day cruise on Symphony of the Seas 
Ports: Perfect Day at CocoCay, St Thomas, and St Maarten. 

 

Option 2:
8 day cruise of Allure of the Seas 
Ports: Labadee, Aruba, and Curaçao. 

 

Which cruise would you recommend

8 day.  More days is always better.  Plus, Aruba and Caracao are great ports.

While we like Labadee, Coco Cay is much better.  But the Allure cruise goes to the ABC islands - far and away our favorite place to sail in the Caribbean.  Check the port boards here and look at some of the excursion consolidators to see what is available that you might like to do.  You can't really go wrong with either itinerary, and we are doing both in the next 3 months.

Just in my opinion:

 

Option 1 - 2 points

Symphony > Allure

CocoCay > Labadee

 

Option 2 - 3 points

Aruba > St. Maarten

Curacao > St. Thomas

8 days > 7 days

 

Option 2 wins for me.

Agree with everyone else - option 2. Treat yourself to the ABC islands in the southern Caribbean.

I do t think you will go wrong with either.  The extra day for the same price might tilt the scale for me plus going to the abc island is not as easy.  That said the Symphony is newer and more update than the Allure which has not been upgraded yet plus Coo Coo is nicer than Labadee.

I think Labadee is 100 times better than coco. Coco is not a tropical island it’s like a Disney park.
