Onboard account refund - how long ?

Hi all

I had an excursion cancelled on a recent cruise so my balance at the end was in credit. It stated this was refundable but I’m wondering how long this takes?

Had my invoice emailed the day after I disembarked and it showed the available balance with ‘referred to corporate finance’.

Anyone with experience know when I should start chasing this?

Thanks!

When I had a positive refundable balance I received a check/cheque in about 6 weeks. It was in an envelope that did not have Princess in the return address. Be careful not to throw away envelopes from unknown addresses without first opening them to see if it is the reimbursement check.

Note that for amounts of 25 USD or less you should get a cash refund from the purser on board.

Never leave the ship with P owing you OBC (refundable or non-refundable). Go to the casino on the last night and go to one of the tables and get the amount in chips. Play a few hands (or not depending how ballsy you feel). Then cash out and walk off the ship with the money in your pocket.

You can do essentially the same thing using a machine in the casino. I'm just not sure how to set up an account using your medallion.
