UUNetBill Posted May 12, 2022 #10 Share Posted May 12, 2022 Does declining the 'included' hotel affect transfers? I'd suspect yes but for us that's always one of the considerations, especially in cities we're not familiar with or if the hotels, airports, and cruise terminals are far apart... Rare ronrick1943 Posted May 13, 2022 #11 Share Posted May 13, 2022 We find even if the port is a distance- it seems we still do better with the cruise credit. The big plus is staying in a hotel that’s not over crowded- and leaving the hotel at your leisure. For us, it’s just better, more relaxed.
runnerswife Posted May 13, 2022 Author #12 Share Posted May 13, 2022 Since we leave from Miami and live in SW Fl we did get a credit of $300. Mary

Mary Coming back to this question for clarification, was the $300 credit per person, or per cabin? It's not really that big of deal, but we are looking at a cruise where they don't have non-concierge basic cabin availability, and we'd prefer to book our own lodging (for a longer stay pre-cruise - we'd book our own air as well).
