Dock or tender? - Ruby Princess, Ketchikan

Sailing Ruby Princess June 29, round trip San Francisco. We will be in Ketchikan on July 5. My itinerary says water shuttle. Cruise Line Agency of Alaska says we are at dock 3. Who do I believe?

Also, my itinerary still shows Victoria but I believe that was changed to Prince Rupert.

Why isn't Princess updating its itineraries?

The site in this post has all the docking info for Alaska this year.

Thanks but that doesn't answer the question. Princess says one thing and CLAA says different. Who do you believe?

I have never NOT docked in Ketchikan.  I believe that there are 4 dock sites there, but I may be confusing it with Juneau.  However, I have traveled to Alaska frequently and never had to shuttle in any port.  (The usual Voyage of the Glaciers ports include Vancouver, Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway, 'Anchorage/Whittier, and sometimes Icy Point Straight).

Port Authority states you are at Berth 3 which is likely correct since the Port Authority decides where you park and not PCL.  Typically, PCL updates your "Travel Summary" it's a PDF on the same web page where you find your Luggage Tags.

Bottom line - Port Authority is usually correct but you never know until the ropes are tossed ashore.
