The only venue that checked my reservations all week was the adult Comedy Club.

Just got to the welcome aboard show, and they are checking reservations.  Turning some away.

Maybe as capacity goes up they are more stringent about it? Do you know how many guests this week? Maybe I booked shows that had low enough reservations that it didn't matter.

Good morning.

Just got back to cabin.

Spent. Yes. SPENT some quality time in casino.

But on way out with my luck. I found a DUCK.

Another changed we noticed is that all shows in the Amber theater if you are in a suite the balcony section is reserved for you. You just flash your pass as you enter and they just shuffle you through like pre plaque.
They did not check if you had a reservation.

Good night.

Pool day tomorrow.

And you shouldn't need to sit in the balcony.  Show your pass to get into the theater (or Aquatheater, or Studio B) and sit wherever you want.  No reservation needed.

P and D+ are also allowed in the balcony along with suite guests. That is my preferred place to sit.

Geeze I really miss being on this ship.

You did not miss the sign as it doesn't exist. I asked the crew member guarding the area from infiltrators as I showed her my seapass verifying my security clearance and I was then given the classified information and allowed to proceed.

Heading to Next cruise soon, then the pool.  It looks like someone put towels down for us, according to Sue’s post.

That is so cool. What an incredibly thoughtful group of folks you are sailing with.

Well, we had a productive morning at next cruise.  Booked a fall cruise from Boston on Voyager.  Good prices, and I will get to use that surprise FCC that Royal sent to me.

Relaxing at the port side overhanging hot tub now.  Solarium bar ran out of some ingredients for a lava flow, so kick starting the morning with a Boston Ice Tea.

Since we had not sailed the Allure since July of 2019. We did notice some changes.

New tables and chairs added to perimeter of pool deck.

New tables and chairs around wipeout Cafe.

The pool water in what we call the sand beach is higher than before. It goes up to the stairs and is under the first row of chair hoggs.

Néw tables in CK

That change in soaps shampoo and conditioner in both bathrooms. After I struggled last year with that crap they call conditioner I brought my own. .

Very please with meal service and quality of food.  This group should be recognized for outstanding work.

Arrived at pool a little after 9. Still loungers  left at ( prime real estate )poolside and many available in the lot stage left.

One thing I did notice not that I’m looking for them is is in regards to security. I’ve only seen a handful and that is near BLAZE.

JUst wanted to note in all our RCI sailings. Our travel company has always provided a gift dinner for two at speciality dining.
This year nothing.
But the mother ship of our local TA a coupon for.  a free 8x10 photo.   (Whippi).

Very few children on board.

Still getting

cookies  fruit basket in suite.

When I think of more I will post.

Stay safe.

When we were booking all of the shows, for some reason the young man helping us  said we could only get the afternoon show (last show on this cruise).  So, we waited until the last show, the only one in the afternoon.  We got there, they didn't need to see our reservation;  they weren't looking at anyone's reservations, anyone and everyone was welcome to attend this showing.  We would've preferred to see the play (which is awesome, btw!) at one of the evening shows.  Perhaps we could have, if we just showed up??

Was on Allure last week, I had reservations for Mama Mia but they weren’t checking and letting everyone in, place wasn’t even 3/4 full

Following. My DH and I are doing this cruise in October and we are very excited about finally getting to Aruba and Curacao . For those of you who have been to Aruba or that are on this cruise, I am looking for a great spot within easy walking distance from the ship to watch the sunset in Aruba. I remember pictures that Twangster posted that were beyond amazing, but can't find that thread or remember where on the island he took them.

Thanks,

Virginia Lea

The place to go is West Deck Bar and Grill.  Easy to make reservations for dinner on their website.  Also easy to walk there from ship.  Enjoy!

Now that you mention that....same with us!  I think I was just somewhat taken aback when they were just letting everyone in for Mama Mia, since we couldn't get a reservation until the last day....I would've preferred seeing it earlier in the week.  I believe we had 9:00 reservations for the Comedy Club, and 10:00 reservations for the Aqua Aria, both on the same night...

Where did the day go?   For us, it was relaxing at the pool.

A little excitement in the dining room tonight.  There was an emergency signal that went out, and as typically happens, no one could understand it.

A little later, the captain came on and basically said the ship was not on fire. Nothing to worry about.  Dang, you could hear a pin drop in there it got so quiet.

Evidently, a fire alarm was triggered in the engine room, or somewhere, and the crew had to check it.

So we went about our normal dining.

Duck tonight.

Since our dinner ran late, we missed the ice show.  Instead, we went to trivia in the Schooner Bar.

Team Sassy and Classy (that’s us on formal night), won the coveted North Star bag with a perfect score for Beatles trivia. Getting better with those.
