Stay away from anyone not wearing a mask. Don't go into a room that is packed with people not wearing a mask.

As the ships get more crowded, virtually impossible to do. If you do ship shorex, impossible to do.

Your suggestions are great if you just want transportation on a ship, but avoiding everything on the ship doesn't sound like a cruise.

Your response illustrates to me why they should have and enforce mask wearing. Thanks.

I see lots of people upset about the cruising situation, both sides. Lot's of sale to entice cruisers back. Stock price down.

I guess we will watch and see how it plays out.

The Have it all promo is great for some. For us we prefer Vantage fair. The cruise fairs for 2023 have not changed a lot.

I don't have time to get into a lot of specifics since my granddaughter has just walked in the door, but I keep a spreadsheet of my potential cruises. I priced cruises for a Caribbean cruise on the Koningsdam on Dec. 22, 2019. An inside cabin for my 21 day cruise with a casino rate was $1,898. Today, I can book an inside on the newest ship, Rotterdam, for $1,259.

What's your secret? Perhaps those people who get covid on cruise ships would like to know.

We too have sailed approximately 130 days since start up @seaoma. A dozen negative tests later and generally unmasked unless absolutely required, we continue to be covid free, even when others get it for the first time or for the third time.  Our choice is to enjoy cruising while also respecting those who wish or need to mask. I'm sure you'll do the same. All the best in your journeys!

Where do we find Vantage fares, Marty?

With the Rotterdam sailing from the Netherlands to Norway and neither country having any covid restrictions what can HAL do? How can they enforce mask wearing? I am sure HAL's legal team is calling the shots here. Make an announcement and wash our hands of it appears to be the direction they are taking.

Please let us know if they do. When we cruised in August, they had required masks and a statement on their site that passengers who failed to follow this requirement, would be disembarked. Not only did that not happen, I almost never saw anyone say anything to people who did not comply.

They had signs up reminding people but that didn't even work. The last morning of the cruise, a man (he was no gentleman) got on the elevator with me without a mask and began coughing. When I asked him where his mask was, he stated it wasn't a requirement. Really??? You've been on the ship for an entire week and you never saw a single sign that said masks were required inside an elevator?

HAL should NOT have to constantly remind us to wear masks. We are adults so we should do what they request. Strange that the adults on a Disney ship can wear masks when they are asked, but they don’t on a HAL ship.

That's good to know. We are booked on the Wish this year.
