On the computer; - login - click 'Manage Your Trip" (upper right) - click "Manage Reservation" - scroll down, click "Delivery Aboard" (box at bottom on left, click "learn more box) - On right there is a box for Onboard Credit, click "View on board Credit" you are now able to buy onboard credit in $25 increments, or specialty dining credit valued at $45 (cheaper way to get specialty dining btw)

Rare Jim_Iain Posted June 5, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 5, 2022 The ones above are in the Gift Area. My understanding is they are Refundable and raises the question. If not a gift why wouldn't you just purchase what you want and have it charged to your credit card at the end of the cruise. No disrespect just wondering. I can't speak for the op, but I did it so my companion wouldn't know that I did, and I could use my own debit card when it convenient for me to do so. I have also done this in advance for my daughter's cabin. There are actually a dozen different reasons why someone might want to do this. Not to mention that you get a pre-paid voucher/certificate for the specialty meal at $45. This is quite a bit cheaper than the regular pricing for a specialty (since the pricing has increased 18%). This will probably be corrected sometime soon, but you can take advantage while the discrepancy lasts.

I live pretty much live in a cashless lifestyle so didn't understand prepaying for cash. We always have our accounts rolled over into one account so I wouldn't be able to hide my extra credit. tallnthensome Posted June 5, 2022 Author #7 Share Posted June 5, 2022 I will have two teen daughters with me and would like to use the pre-purchase credit for them to have some spending credit on board. Sort of gives them a limit.

I’ve done it in the past, when the GBP(£) / $ exchange rate is favourable. Edited June 5, 2022 by upwarduk
