The beach is typical Yucatán beach. Not the cleanest. Not the bluest. But it’s a beach. We met Umberto and he got us set up for the day.

The rum punch flowed freely today.

The kids were happy with the dirty beach approximately 1 rum punch. They hunted seashells but hated the seaweed. I checked the prices of things and looked around before I knew they’d drag us to the pool. Also found an island dog.

So to the pool it was…no one else was in the area, but these chairs we CHOGGED. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Then it was lunch time. I was nervous about the buffet, but there were servers and everything was fresh. There was cantaloupe or watermelon. Salad options. Nachos with cheese and beans. Cheese quesadillas. Two types of chicken fajitas. Fresh tortillas and rice. Not the worst excursion food. The kids also had to have Mexican Coke.

More rum punch and some shopping. The girls wanted to get their hair braided and wanted mom to match. I talked them into just one single braid back. We also bought some woven bracelets.

I found another pool… the “quiet pool”, no music and no bar, but by then, it was time to leave. I saw Fernando wondering around looking for all of us. 
the ride back to port seemed a little shorter. He probably hit 45. 😆 Middle went to sleep.

Shopped a little and then headed back to the ship.

Stewart was here and the kids wanted to hide some ducks. We headed to the Library and now they are playing Trouble in the cabin.

So, question for you - as a fellow drink package girl, any tips to staying in shape?  Do you workout everyday on ship or just go back to your routine when home. So impressed that cruising and drink package doesn’t seem to impact you.  😊

Alligator beignets (little mushy inside), mussels and French onion. My favorite soup. Really good tonight.

Kids cheese pizza, flat iron steak, spare ribs and lasagna. We’ve been really impressed with the flat iron steaks this week. Plus, Hendri has been cutting it up for Colton every night. The lasagna is the best I’ve had ever on a ship.
