Will carnival allow me to add people to my itinerary

My wife and I have a suite that fits 5 but it's only us on the original itinerary.

The grandparents said that they can't watch the kids during this time so we may have to bring them with us.

Is carnival flexible to add them to the itinerary and stay in our suite? Anyone have any experience with this?

Depends on whether they have reached capacity for that sailing yet.  Your suite may hold 5 but they may have already reached the allowable number of guests for that voyage.  You would need to contact them to find out.  If they haven't reached capacity it should just be a matter of paying the difference and the admin fee (may or may not be waived).

As others have indicated, the answer is yes unless Carnival has some kind of capacity issue with your cruise.  This is one where you will need to call Carnival or your TA, if you used one.  Good luck.
