Is calling the only way to cancel a pre-booked excursion before embarkation? (how long will that take?)

I have had a change of plans at one port.

I am trying Live Chat that is not connecting...

If I do need to call, what kind of hold times can i expect?

The excursion hotline answer quickly.  They think you want to buy something.

Cruise well.

you can cancel once you board the ship. dont worry!

Appears I only get OBC if I wait. Of course it was a pricey tour.

we always had 24 hrs to cancel an excursion, and get the money refunded or taken off the bill. i dont even usually book an excursion until i board, and only about 2 times in 18 cruise with ncl have i been locked out of an excursion.

so unless it a tour that leaves on the 1st day out, which i doubt, there should be no problem.

I’ve found it is much quicker to get through to Shorex than Reservations on the phone. Shorex is a dedicated department and have a different set of agents

That’s the one I called…gave up after an hour on hold.
