Rare Scrapnana Posted June 22, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2022 Noordam will be at the CT dock from 8am to 6pm. Also in port are Norwegian Pearl at the AJ dock (7am-1:15pm), Carnival Miracle taking her place at 2pm until 11pm, Celebrity Eclipse at the AS dock (7:30am-8pm), and Ruby Princess at the Franklin Street dock (9am-9pm). The weather continues to improve with only an 8% chance of rain. Mostly cloudy skies will give way to only partly cloudy skies as the day progresses. The high is predicted to be 69F/21C and the low 50F/10C. Sunrise is at 3:51 am and sunset at 10:08 pm. The PTZtv webcam can be found at https://www.juneauharborwebcam.com/. Happily@Sea Posted June 22, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 22, 2022 As long as she doesn't show just after 5 am AST - I should be here to seee her arrive. Probably the usual race between the BHB and the other early arriving ship. Thanks, Kathi for the thread.
Happily@Sea Posted June 23, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 23, 2022 Noordam is running early - as usual. Our Carnival blocking ship is nowhere in sight, so should have good views of our BHB for quite awhile. Noordam following Nor Jewel but she will be stopping at AJ dock. Looks like close to an hour now for ship sightings.
Rare GeezerCouple Posted June 23, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 23, 2022 I thought the NCL Pearl is doing weekly sailings to Bermuda from the East Coast. GC

Rare rafinmd Posted June 23, 2022 #11 Share Posted June 23, 2022 But the blocker is getting close. NCL ship is the Jewel, rather than the Pearl. Roy

Happily@Sea Posted June 23, 2022 #13 Share Posted June 23, 2022 (edited) I tried to find the blocker about 2 hours ago and not near. She must have been in the 'radio dead zone' - no updates/locations for a couple of hours. Edited June 23, 2022 by Happily@Sea

rkacruiser Posted June 23, 2022 #16 Share Posted June 23, 2022 What's wrong with me? Watching arrivals at Juneau was enjoyable. They have become tiresome for me, other than watching the lines being deployed and the activity of those on the "diving board" and the port workers. Sailaways are different. There is "energy" that I witness from the views of the guests and when the Master chooses to push the whistle button. I enjoy checking the Juneau webcam just to see which ships are in port, the weather, and the fact that Juneau is a favorite Alaskan port of mine.
