Oh, and allow me to say here that I have no idea how ArriveCAN really works. Again, no one ever looked at it or asked for it at any point, so maybe the info just automatically gets transmitted somehow? No clue. VeriFLY was an awesome

So the double decker cruise shuttles run constantly and take you to government st. In the middle of downtown. When a ship is in port, that street completely closes to traffic except for these buses, so they’re always there and it’s super convenient. It’s $15 CAN, the driver does a little mini tour for ya, it’s nice and easy. You COULD walk (especially if you went to the left toward the waterfront area), but it would take you a while, and since we always only have a few hours in Victoria, the shuttle felt like the move.

Having that 8-1 kinda day, nothing much is gonna be open for us to visit, so a quick yelp check and breakfast it is! 

 

this place seemed well liked, and we waited outside in a line for about twenty minutes, so that was a good sign. It wasn’t anywhere near the bus stop either, so the locals dig it. And everyone was so incredibly nice. I know, no surprise there. 🇨🇦

oh man! It looked so cool!!! I’d have loved to have popped in but we were too early and they weren’t open yet! Here’s to more time in Victoria!

Another moment where on any other cruise you’d be amazed to pass by these beautiful green rolling hills, but by this point on this itinerary you’re just “meh” and you go back inside. Crazy!

I absolutely would have purchased a 50th Birthday beach towel, but they weren’t for sale in the gift shop and I never saw anyone selling them up here 🤷🏻‍♂️

Just reiterating the fact that unless you booked ahead of time (whew!) or got a casino comp, the steakhouse was straight up not bookable at any point on the Hub. Maybe you could get in if you went in person, maybe capacity was down due to staffing, but it was booked up!
