Platinum gift

Why not give platinum cruisers room cleaning twice a day instead of the gifts. Doesn't cost Carnival anything and I would be happy with it. What are your thoughts?

this is why i love norwegian cruise lines. they have better platinum benefits like 10-15% discount off of photos, excursions and other things

You can make some of the people happy some of the time. No matter what the gift is it will meet with less than universal appeal. It is what it is.

Terrible idea.

Why does anyone need theoir room done twice a day?

(I guiess if your stuck in your cabin with covid)

I'd prerfer the photo discounts or other discounts versus 2 room cleanings or  a 99 cent foam beer koozie.

April cruise was koozies for us and love them!  I hope to get 2 more on our October cruise.  My two faves were the blankets and the Bluetooth speakers.  I use both of those almost daily.  But like others have pointed out, I just appreciate the gesture.

My favourite gift were the casino socks (may have been from a premier cruise). Had them for about 4 years now and have been washed 1000 times. Wearing them today, about due for another set...

Our favorite was the Tervis glasses. We were on a back 2 back so we scored 4. Would’ve loved a blanket to travel with. But I’m just happy to be cruising.

My cabin was cleaned twice a day on every cruise prior to Covid for the past 15 years.  I enjoyed it as part of the experience.

That would be wonderful. In my 5 post pandemic cruises I have missed housekeeping twice a day most of all. I keep my cabin spotless on my own. However, nothing I'd better than coming back after dinner and night in the casino to find my dirty towels removed (I only use bath linens once and wash at home... same on vacations) and bed turned down.

How many pictures are discounted. Rcl gives a free photo from a very low loyalty level. I come home with one of my dining table usually. Free is good.

 

Though nothing as good as my 5 free drink vouchers. 

 

Everyone gets excursions on sale. I pre purchased 2 of my sept excursions 30% off and one later at 25% off. Rare to get 30% off. Excursions have been at awesome prices. 

 

It wouldnt thrill me to get cabin cleaning twice a day, though rcl still cleans cabins twice a day. Is carnival the only line doing it once a day. Doesnt bother me. I'm neat and would rather have the privacy. I put the thing on my door all the time to not go in. Dont need or want twice a day cleaning. It's odd to me how much I seem to be in line with carnival lately. I'm private and solo and neat. I'm just fine with once a day cleaning. Something that saves me money would be preferred. I normally dont buy photos so a free photo is money I wouldnt spend otherwise and no loss of income to them.

I agree i use them on every jet blue flight we take to the cruise ports !!!
