Visa requirement for travel from USA to australia

I am concerned about travel Visa to Australia on the Carnival transpacific cruise scheduled for Sept..  Attached is link where it states visa at current time only allowed to visit family at the current time.  Has anyone heard if this requirement is due to be changed?

 Australia's borders are open to visitors.

You can apply for an ETA on line on the Australian Government website.

The one you looked at is a third party provider.

You can apply for an ETA on line on the Australian Government website. 

From 6th April, you apply on the Australian ETA app available from the Apple Store or Google Play Store and in most cases you will be notified of the result immediately.
