But the CDC doesn't govern UK-based cruise companies. So the CDC decision had no bearing on P&O's decision.
jamscckmc Posted July 21, 2022 #353 Share Posted July 21, 2022 It will also depend on each ports requirements. Bermuda requires all passengers over age 11 to be vaccinated and all have negative tests. Personally it makes me more comfortable cruising there but know that there’s still a good chance of catching Covid on any cruise.

Sounds like some sensationalist social media take? Can you name some? I reckon I might be able to name one (recognise 2) and purely because they were on the UK daily briefings, every day for about 12 weeks. I don’t believe everything I read, but nor do I ignore SMEs. Those fall under the PHAC (public health agency of Canada) and in their return to cruising rules, testing is a part of that. Considering our CDN govt is holding onto ArrivCAN with a death grip and bringing back 'mandatory random testing' at major airports, they won't be making any changes to cruises that leave from Canadian ports this year, no matter what happens in the US. Please confirm that I have this correct 😀 no virus test required upon initial entry into Vancouver virus test required (by Canada) before boarding a cruise embarking from Vancouver
davekathy Posted July 21, 2022 #359 Share Posted July 21, 2022 We'll wait for guidance for pre cruise testing from RC concerning our specific cruise.
