RCCL island resorts and parks ?

Back before the Covid  RCI was building resorts and attractions on some islands. Have not heard anything about this project lately, I'm sure it was their way to capture more money. It's hard to see why these islands would go along with this idea but  maybe they were  bought off.

Anyone heard anything?

The Grand Lucayan project in Freeport was canceled in Dec 2021.

We've heard that the abandoned section at the left of the Nassau port will become another beach 'private island'.   Nothing has ever been confirmed that I have seen.

Canceled by the new Bahamas gov't since they didn't like the inherited contract. RC is still pursuing it though.

Lalepa should still be moving forward. They’ll need that once they have another O class to put somewhere.
