The booster requirement/270 days for Greece is still listed under requirements section dated 8/16 - however if you go to FAQs for Europe dated today, it no longer specified a booster - so I'm hopeful things still aren't completely updated: What are the guidelines for cruises from Greece: Cruises that depart, arrive or visit Greece require guests 5 and older to be fully vaccinated unless they are granted an exemption. Kids 4 years of age and under are welcome to cruise and have no vaccination or test requirements. Based on current Greek requirements for cruising, all guests ages 5 and above will require one of the following medically observed negative viral COVID-19 test taken before boarding: Within 2 days for Antigen OR Within 3 days for PCR Tests must be conducted in-person by medical personnel and guests will need a physical letter with the negative results. Test results proctored by video are not accepted. We recommend guests take a medically observed viral COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen) prior to leaving home to avoid queues and travel disruptions associated with a possible positive result on the day of embarkation. We understand that this may not be possible based on your travel plans. For fully vaccinated guests, we will be able to provide a limited number of antigen tests that meet our requirements, at or near the terminal. For those that wish to take advantage of this convenience, a fee of $60 USD per person will apply as a stateroom folio charge to cover our internal costs. All guests ages 12 and above that have been approved for a vaccination exemption, as well as unvaccinated children ages five to 11 years old, will need an embarkation day COVID-19 test performed at the terminal in addition to the pre-cruise PCR test noted in the chart above. Charges may apply. Guests who have an approved medical exemption from COVID-19 Vaccines are required to bring a letter from a physician. To request an exemption, please call us: North America - 1-800-PRINCESS United Kingdom - 0344 338 8663 Australia: 13 24 88 New Zealand: 0800 780 717 For additional information view the Vaccination & Testing Requirements by Region page. clueless2 Posted September 6, 2022 #8 Share Posted September 6, 2022 Back to back requirements seem to have changed. Will I be able to book multiple cruises, back to back? Yes, we offer back-to-back bookings, subject to availability. Guests ages 5 and above on these sailings may be required to take a complimentary rapid antigen test before the second voyage – shipboard medical staff will notify guests of any testing requirements. Guests who test positive for COVID-19 may be required to disembark, and if so - will be entitled to a 100% Future Cruise Credit (FCC). We will closely monitor guidance from government and health authorities and will adapt and evolve this policy accordingly.

Well seems like progress: 'may be required' instead of the past where it said 'will be required; and listed everyone accompanying them on the booking. would have to disembark whereas that now says 'may be' as well....

No more verbage of b2b with Trans Ocean, Full Panama canal transits, 16 plus days etc. So, now it’s really up to them or if a Government requires it, to test or not.

Yes, I am aware that cruise companies make their own rules. I'm just curious what changed on Greece's end to disallow proctored/video test results. As for the booster language disappearing, I think that things are still changing as countries assess their risk tolerance, and what they deem necessary to protect their own country. What is policy today could change just as easily tomorrow should there be another upswing in positive cases. It's definitely a check and double check all the things before travel these days. NownZen Posted September 7, 2022 #14 Share Posted September 7, 2022 Got an email from Princess today discussing the Enhanced Guidelines cruise we have coming up. It requires up to date vaccination (including a booster) and the precruise covid test. It also notes that masks and in cruise testing may be required. This is different from the Sept 6 guidelines allowing unvaccinated passengers. Sounds like they may be concerned with the increasing number of covid cases.
cruzsnooze Posted September 7, 2022 #15 Share Posted September 7, 2022 Ready to Welcome Everyone On Board Updated September 6, 2022 We want your vacation to be as easy, hassle-free and safe as possible. With recent updates to our guidelines, we're able to welcome even more guests regardless of vaccination status. Even better – no testing requirements for vaccinated guests on most voyages! We've also removed the vaccine requirement for most voyages so than anyone can cruise and adjusted our pre-travel testing requirements to make it less complicated to sail with us. There are also Enhanced Guidelines voyages that have their own Vaccination and Testing requirements. These new guidelines apply to itineraries from all departure points except where government regulations may vary like Canada, Greece and Australia. For additional information regarding your voyage visit the Vaccine and Testing Requirements page, Princess communications and official government sites. We're thrilled that you have chosen Princess Cruises for your vacation. We can't wait to help you create those "only on Princess" moments. Since you are sailing on an Enhanced Guidelines voyage we wanted to share some important information for your upcoming cruise: You must be fully vaccinated and up to date which means you have received all the doses in an authorized or approved primary COVID-19 vaccine series at least 14 days prior to embarkation. Up to date means that a guest is fully vaccinated, and received at least 1 booster dose, if eligible before embarkation. Guests are considered "up to date" from the date of receiving their booster dose. Please remember to upload your proof of vaccination while getting OceanReady. You must also upload proof of a supervised negative test taken within 3 days of boarding. Guests may also have to wear masks and undergo testing during the voyage. Enhanced cruises are longer and more cases are probable. Hence, masks are possible. I’m glad they are sending specific requirements out to everyone on the Enhanced cruises. We are on a 33 day cruise. I do not like the idea of short cruises as they always have to pry my hands of the cabin door frame to get me to leave the ship at the end of the cruise.

It says that those on Enhanced voyages will be contacted by the ocean Navigator team. Guess this is the notice. I just received the email too - we're booked on the jan world cruise and got an exemption but if we can't get one wrt to booster (we're fully vaccinated) - will be canceling a trip of a lifetime in the next couple of days.
