No masks for crew on Infinity

Starting today 9/10, crew on Infinity do not have to wear facemasks inside. They retain the option to still wear facemasks if they choose.

Hope this is true on other ships as well. Isn't Infinity going out of Fl. Lauderdale?

Very interesting.  I feel for the crew having to wear masks all the time.  That said, I personally would prefer that they continue to wear them when serving (or preparing) food.  Good for keeping away all types of viruses - not just Covid.

At a Q&A session on 30/07/22 Silhouette sailing, the F&B manager said he hoped masks would be dispensed with ‘soon.’

We attended a life on board talk on the Solstice where during the Q and A the Hotel Directer/Manager was asked when the crew would be able to stop wearing masks.  Her answer was that there had been a trial on the Summit recently and the test had to be stopped after three days because of cases.  She was a sharp lady and I think that she and many others really wanted this to work but had to admit at that time that it did not.  Maybe they are trying another test.  At least we know that they are paying attention to the situation and results.
