From the Hilton riverside bridge we can see progess

on the new Caesar’s New Orleans hotel

Still at Hilton riverside drinking coffee. There’s this escalator that takes you to that bridge that takes you over the tracks.

 

It’s not a very high escalator but still. They have the up escalator shut down and roped off. There’s an elevator on this side of the wall so that’s what I used. Well I just saw this  guy fighting his way up the down escalator. I don’t know if he didn’t know about the elevator or what..

At the game yesterday the guy in front me was face timing one of the Saints super fans.

Curtains are down because of the wind. Otherwise people would be wearing powered sugar in there…more than usual

I’ve been skeptical about the switch to little Caesar’s pizza this year. I’ve been boycotting pizza. Today I decided to try it. Nope. No good. You pay $10. Then they give you a pre-prepared mystery box. Mine contained two square slices of cold pizza. I get it. Caesars superdome. Little Caesars opportunity to capitalize on a sponsorship they didn’t pay for. But Hopefully they bring back the old pizza next year.

As a kid I went through a period of years where my parents only ordered Little Caesar’s because you got two of those square pizzas on a cardboard tray with a paper wrap for like $8 I think. I hated it.

Dinner. 20 min wait for a table so we just sat at the bar.
