Best Times to Visit Bermuda

The best time to visit Bermuda is in March or April, when the temperate weather becomes pleasant for beach bathing (though not quite warm enough yet for swimming). Hotel prices during these months aren't as high as they are in Bermuda's busy season, from May to October. If you're more interested in golf, plan your trip for the wintertime. Unlike the Caribbean, Bermuda is relatively cool in the winter, so you'll score the greatest discounts at hotels and enjoy fewer crowds at top attractions

But, that's just one of many articles that express opinions of when the best time is to visit Bermuda.

It is funny to me that two ex military police are scared of Manhattan.  I have been there many times day and night and your fear gives me a chuckle.

Hey Skippy, quote me where I said, ONCE, that I was scared of going to NYC/Manhattan.  Don't obfuscate, don't misrepresent, just quote me.   Do that before you go on to anything else.  If you can't, I'll accept your apology!

Hell, quote me where I said I was scared of anything in this forum.  If anything, I've said that I'm "not risk adverse".

I don't think @mpdog42 did either.  Just because you don't want to visit a place, spend money there, support anything there doesn't mean that you are afraid of anything.

How can it be pleasant for beach bathing when it is not warm enough for swimming? They make no sense. I went once in middle May and could not even sit on the beach as the wind was blowing sand all over and 70 felt like 60. So sure if you want a hotel at $400 a night instead of $800  I guess that is what they mean by a great discount.

That's an easy question to ask when you know that it can't be answered with a fully qualified answer because of the rules.

Thanks!..Exactly!!! a lot of CC members know that if you try and explain your position/Opinion..then they or someone else will say you attacked them by putting down there city/or your talking political or they will try and a play a Victim "Card" and report you to the Mods..Trust me i have the reminders and suspensions to prove it!!

I don't know where you googled that it is the best time of year. But if you like the 60's and not doing the beach I guess that is the time for you. Beach season begins at the end of May. March and April would be great golf weather or whale watching  but there are no crowds because there is not much to do in March or April.  Also no casinos and entertainement is pretty limited. Not only limited cruises in the winter but limited flights to Bermuda.

It's a ten second Google search, sorry if that is too difficult to comprehend.  😂 Any golfer I know would prefer playing in those temps rather than the hot and humid months of June, July and August. The beach in April is much more comfortable at 75 in April vs. 85-90 in August. Oh, and let's not forget hurricane season begins in June- Oct so there's that. Flights are totally available, flight and cruise fares are much less expensive  as well.  But to each their own.

The beach is not comfortable at 75 with cold water temperatures. Also i should mention  the swarms of portuguese man o war in the water that wash ashore and are laying on the beach. But I agree with your that it is great golf weather.

Honestly you are not making any sense to me. You don't want to visit Manhattan for some political reason? Or are you saying you have some bigoted reason? I really don't comprehend. Confused......

Let's be real. It's pretty much all political. He's just playing games and trying to twist it.

I get that now. I was not getting that it was political before because I don't look at things that way. It didn't occur to me.

Bermuda is usually in the 60's in winter.  That's a nice break from middle of the winter weather in NY-New England. Atlantic can be cold but you have that first day anytime you cruise out of NY in winter. I do it all the time.  Choppy seas don't bother me at all.

True... but NCL ships lack inside pools. 3 sea days won't be comfortable too.

You posted that you won't take private excursions because of the risk of missing the ship.

You should probably be thanking 2 ex military for your freedom that affords you to travel instead of trying to argue and demean them.

The crime in NYC is NOT political it’s real. I’m sure you see the local news if you live in CT. And even saying that is dismissing the poor victims.

Every large city has crime. I really don't feel fearful in Manhattan. I lived in manhattan all through the 70's when it was much worse than it is now. Nobody likes crime but it's the same in Rome, Paris, etc.

And his post was a thinly veiled political post.

They do but I’m very scared to go into the city right now. I’m so sick of politics! That’s one of the worst byproducts of the pandemic. Everyone was home picked teams and became political. It’s draining.

Thanks.  But, let him go, he's showing his true colors!  He won't even admit the obvious.  He can't quote what he says people are saying.  I'm still waiting on him to produce a quote, apologize, or leave.

I am sure there are bad places, but during last year we multiple times,  many of my friends, relatives, people I know from Europe visited NYC and never felt unsafe.
