Yes it’s a great deal!  We have received 3 different offers in the past 6 weeks.  Each of them offered for 2 weeks and received another offer on expiration date.  We already booked 2 cruises on these offers.  One was an ocean view and the other we paid to upgrade from an inside to an ocean view.  You do have to pay $200 per person which you get back as an OBC .

Thank you. Trying to see if we can swing a 9 day to Mexico over NYE (main issue being vacation days at work and finding someone to stay with our 16 year old and 2 dogs).

We took the same offer on this very cruise.  Upgraded to a veranda and added Have It All.

Was it $99 per person to add Have It All?

I do not recall what the HIA cost.  $99 seems low.

Looking at this cruise now, the difference between Inside and Verandah (we got a partially obstructed one) is $500.

Add in the $200/person OBC that you pay upfront....taxes, and the HIA...it came to $1,189 p/p.

$500+$200+$140 (taxes)+ $349 (difference, likely cost of HIA) = $1,189.

We consider this a great bargain since we love the Koningsdam and it takes us 7 minutes to get to the cruise terminal.

There are two offers on this promotion that I would consider to be ULTIMATE OFFERS!! The 34-day Pacific crossing of the Noordam that leaves from San Diego a week from today and travels to Sydney, Australia with stops in Hawaii and Tahiti is $200(obc) for an inside with $397 taxes/fees. You can stay on the ship and add the 35-day Australia Circumnavigation cruise for $200(obc) for an inside with $717 taxes/fees, with debarkation in Sydney on December 17. There are no return sailings back to the USA or Canada until the spring so at that point you would have to either fly back home or swim!

@Anne614 @LJProk @SDARCH @Destiny0315 Are these offers via Email, mailed flyers or by logging in? I haven't gone through all my Emails lately and need to comb through the mailers. Thanks!

i just went through Big Box company and was able to book the 12/29 9 night Mexico cruise with the free inside stateroom but upgraded to guarantee balcony.  They said it could not be combined with the Have it All but said if someone else got it perhaps could tell Holland Agent. Got the room for $1878 for 2 persons.

Has anyone done this? You pay taxes, port fees, gratuities, etc but the stateroom is free. Does it end up being a good deal?

Wondering - we are 5 star with 35+ cruises on HAL and use a TA for our bookings and have never gotten any offer like this.  Are you booking your cruises with a PCC or directly on the HAL site?

Booked through HAL directly.  I would imagine it works with a TA as well. They just needed the offer code in the email.

Hmm… Would you mind direct messaging me? dpspoiler@gmail.com…I would like to get the Have it all added if possible.

Yes of course because someone has to pay for these promos.  It sounds to me that these promos are going out to new cruisers on hal.  I can pretty much guarantee that even if you had a promo code for it there would be zero chance of you getting it.  I’m not speaking of you specifically.  I also believe I’d have zero chance and I’m a five star as well.

Yes, I guess they have us locked in so don't need to offer us anything.  I just hope they don't reduce/dilute our 5 star benefits any more than they already have over the last several year.

Like everyone else I can't figure out the pattern or the rhyme or reason for who receives offers like this. I am 3 star working on 4 and have booked with a big box store, PCC's and direct in the past. I have never worn out the rug beneath a slot machine or a seat on a chair at a poker table in any casino on any cruise line I have cruised with. I do know what a great deal is and in my post was just reminding those who received it how it seemed like a winning bet.

I don’t see how it can be seen as anything but a good deal.  I’m amazed that anyone has to even ask the question.  I mean, what is the downside? Having to pay for a flight after paying really nothing isn’t a downside to me.

It's a  very long flight from Sydney to LAX  . In 2015  I missed the Xtdney to LAX with business class  air miles we had . They have   limits using miles to book . so we did the next best thing . It turned out  to be 4 airports , 25 hours going first class(  no beds on the first class flights ) on 3 different airlines  to get back to San Diego airport

A word of caution unless you can get a direct non stop from Sydney to LAX from HAL then take your chances   .I think non stop to LAX is still 12 or 14 hour flight  , I would never do that in  coach . It would need business class bed
