Leaving on the Dream 10-22.  Latest Deck Plans show that there is no longer a Red Frog Pub.  Would be interested to find out what, if anything, is happening in the new Song Lounge.  Also a bit concerned about the loss of TVs in the RFP for watching sports.  Assume they still have some in casino bar.  Any insights you can provide on those issues would be greatly appreciated.

I believe the Dream is the last ship without the RFP. If memory serves me, from sailing her in 2019, that space is Alchemy and the art gallery. But I will definitely check it out further this week, and I’ll let you know.

Megan we are in that same room type I believe on the Dream leaving on the 16th, It will be my wife and 3 kids. Looking forward to your live updates of the ship and how that room is! Please post about the room and your thoughts.

Thanks

Corey

Will do! We stayed in an interior in June and it was snug. My best advice is to completely unpack and stow the suitcases away under the bed. I’m usually a half unpacker. I’ll hang my “dinner wear” up and pull the suitcase out as needed for bathing suits and day time clothing, but with the bunk beds and trundle being used… that doesn’t work well.
I’ll be sure to post lots of cabin photos and details Saturday.

This reminds me of a Haiku I wrote on my first live in 2018. It went something like this.

Work is done for today.
I thought I’d take this time to update you on my crew friends from previous sailings.
Teodoro- is at home in the Philippines and is getting ready to head to the Glory the last week of October.
I Nyoman- has his visa and is ready to join the Celebration in Finland.
Chow- is still on the Liberty. He called me Sunday night and is getting ready to go home in a few weeks. He’s hoping to come back on a ship out of Galveston… hopefully the Breeze.
Aris- oh Aris. He’s had the craziest home vacation. Originally, he was suppose to go to the Freedom. Then, he was scheduled for Celebration and even got his visa for Finland. Then last week, sometime, his schedule changed to Luminosa. This makes me very sad because I highly doubt I’ll make it to Australia to cruise in the next 7 months. He has 24 days til he reports to Brisbane. We are both hoping his assignment changes before then. I miss my Indonesian BFF. It will be really hard not to see him for a full year even though I talk to him almost every day. 😆

We are excited that Alberto, bar server, is suppose to be on this sailing of the Dream. We are hoping to see a few more familiar faces. Guess we will have to leave no bar unturned to be sure not to miss anyone. 😉

Yes, as I typed the response, I heard your Haiku in the back of my head… in the voice I’ve created for you. 😆

We are not so patiently waiting for our stockholders OBC request to be processed. This is the only time we will be able to use it due to normally booking under rate codes that don’t allow it. This cruise was booked so long ago that our old PVP booked it. We bought stocks the last slump, knowing we would rarely be able to use it, but we have faith in CCL that it will be a worthy investment… but I would like that $100 OBC. We’ve emailed it twice and faxed it once. I guess if we don’t hear anything by Thursday, I’ll call. I haven’t listened to Carnival hold music in a few week… can’t wait. 🤦🏼‍♀️

The son might need a new suitcase after this. I had to put his shoes in the larger suitcase because with 3 pairs, they were filling his little dino suitcase. Also, I will never understand why little boys want to be scary things for Halloween. I miss the days of being animals or superheroes. I don’t miss them enough to have more kids, but definitely enough to say I miss them. 😆

Hope you'll try one of the Hallowe'en drinks. Last time we cruised with Patch I forgot to, so you better pick up the slack! 😁🍹Have a great time!

I’ll give it my best shot! As long as it isn’t pumpkin spice flavored… I’m pretty basic, but not a PS fan.

Nope, no PS. I remember a green one with Midori and I'm not a Midori fan.

I’m not a huge fan but I’ll take one for the team. Gonna attempt to spread the drinks out so mommy isn’t walking “funny” as a cruise trip memory. 😬

All signed up to follow.  While you are cruising we are driving cross country from Massachusetts to Arizona for some warmth!

Of course I'd rather be on a cruise!

I’d say swing through Galveston and come on, but she’s sailing full!! Safe travels.

I never realized how crazy that system is until this ride with Aris. Hopefully 🤞🏻 It changes in the next 25 days…

Wooo…..can’t wait for you to get on the ship. I’m ready for your fall break vacation.

I’ve tried to leave earlier, but parent teacher conferences are Thursday night. I don’t know why they can’t just send me a wrap up email and call it good. 😆

When I sailed Dream last Halloween we got Key West cancelled booo. It was still a great cruise of firsts. First time visiting Nassau and HMC, first time having drink package, first time having spa passes. We had rough weather coming back the last 2 days and ended up getting in late. Wishing y'all nothing but blue skies and a smooth sailing!

I also have my own estimation of Greg's voice... I'll let you know how close I am two months from today:/

We were a little worried about Key West with Ian, but it looks like it’s a go. Thank you for the well wishes!
