Can you pick embarkation time with medallion ship

How do you get your boarding time with a medallion ship (Discovery) and can you change if you don’t like it. We are not early boarders.

Yes you can edit it.

All Princess ships are Medallion ships.  If you show up late for your boarding time, they will still let you on (unless the boarding gates have closed, just shortly before ship sails.)

The other thing is we have not had anybody check the time. Just show up when you want. I am obsessive so I like to have the boxes checked so I do fill it out.

Never had anyone check the arrival time on the app. 

None of the port staff even know what the app is !

If you do not have the app, you have to show your passport, vaccination card, test results and have your picture taken.

If you have the app, you have to show your passport, vaccination card, test results and have your picture taken.

You can immediately see the advantage of the app.

Note that the ability to pick a boarding time does not show up on the app until shortly before you sail...maybe 2-3 weeks

We're sailing in just over 6 weeks and now are able to pick our boarding time.

Was 59 days out for my upcoming Oct 29th cruise on the Enchanted Princess.

that is nice, when we sailed in January it was very close to boarding...which was stressful

It's typically been 59 days for many people.

Understand about the tests but the point was the difference in steps with and without the app.

The Princess app for boarding times can't be taken seriously. The time slot for our upcoming cruise has the last  slot extending well beyond the sail time. In fact, the ship will be in international waters if anyone selects that window!  Just show up works for us.
