Suprised to read that a the 3 night Meraviglia from Port Canaveral today has 3 dinner seatings

I was assigned late dinner on my documents for 11/3 3 nighter...7:45 PM

 

Saw Daily Program for today, 10/13.  6, 8:30 and 10 PM were listed for Waves. The ship came back today from a Transatlantic, but they only had 6 and 8:30.

 

Perhaps they changed to 3 dinner times due to a full ship on 11/3.  Can't imagine having dinner at 10 PM!

The late sitting   (10 PM in this case) is very popular with some Europeans where late dinners are the norm.

I understand...but this cruise is a Port Canaveral US to Bahamas.

That does not mean that there will not be a lot of guests from Europe.  EM

When we sailed Bahamas/Carib on MSC, Americans were a small minority.  We got the middle seating (8?), but there was a third, later time as well.

I’m on a sold out Divina three-nighter soon. As your cruise is similar…. I’m curious if you have a formal night and what night of the cruise it is for you?

More seatings help in a dining room if a ship is low on staff.

I wouldn't  be surprised if capacity is up.  Our Florida pre-covid cruises on MSC all had 3 seatings and 3 shows to go along with it.
