Celebrity Ascent — Great Suite Pricing for 1/21/24

I always kill time by checking cruise prices. Stumbled across some great suite prices for the 1/21/2024 Ascent sailing. Sky Suite for about $5,150 for 2. Week before and after are a little over $8,000. 
 

Similar thing happened when I booked our 1/29/23 Beyond sailing. Prices didn’t last long and soon went up several $K. 
 

I can’t figure out any rhyme or reason, so I booked it 😜.

Congrats!  $2291 (before fees and taxes) is a great price...

Just booked 1/21/2024 for a similar price.  Really don't like ("hate" might be a better word) the itinerary,  but maybe we just won't get off the ship.

Holy cow - I GUESS!  Looked at Royal Suite prices:

 

1/14/24 RS = $10,918 pp

1/21/24 RS = $  5,757 pp

1/28/24 RS = $  9,703 pp

 

We don't do 7 night cruises, but the B2B price certainly goes up in a hurry, doesn't it?

Just cancelled Ascent sailing for 04/21/2024 and rebooked exact same Sky Suite (9163) for 01/21/2024 for much less! Saved $3,000. 🤑🤑🤑

 

I owe you a drink, mac_tlc! 😁

True! Two weeks later with the same itinerary a Sky Suite is $8300.😳

Nor could I when, like you, I fell upon the 1/29/23 Retreat prices for the Beyond. Around 5.5K all in for an S1 and now over 10K. We typically pay the same per diem for an SV in Europe (at Indulge type rates).

That price is very attractive but that route is just awful. Maybe I will do a hold until tomorrow and rethink this one. All in on the S1 the travel agent is offering $1,250 OBC.

Add the Tikis to the Roll Call! We scored an S1 at this amazing price, too. It will not bother me at all to treat this like a "cruise to nowhere" with all the suite perks plus almost $800 in OBC to burn. ($600 from X and $195 from our TA.)
