Paying in Advance for Wi-Fi & Drink Package

Recommended Posts

Has anyone purchased the "bare bones" fair and added WIFI, drinks& tips once on board?

Wondering if it would be less expensive this way?

I have purchased these packages on board in the past & it was less expensive.

I do usually for every trip.  I simply do the math.  The lines want to bundle the options and unless you use every option in the bundle to its fullest you aren’t getting a value.  If you choose bare bones go to the website ahead of time to the page where you manage your cruise and they may offer these individual services at a pre cruise discounted price.

When sailing Celebrity, if you are a member of Captain's Club, and you upgrade the drink package from Classic pre-cruise, depending on the level in the loyalty program, you save 5% to 15%.

Onboard does not offer any discount. Though I have heard of people holding off and upgrading a few days into the cruise to save.

Thanks to everyone for their feedback!!

I bit the Bullitt & did the full shebang!

Will inquire on board about upgrading drink package.

How much did you pay per person per night and for how many nights?

What is your deal breaking price point for unlimited alcohol and unlimited Wi-Fi?

Depends on the cruise line.

For Celebrity, Princess & NCL, much cheaper to add their all-inclusive feature when booking (you can typically add these later by calling)
