Need help finding out if we will indeed receive the Plus Beverage Package for the 5 Night Cruise - Melbourne , Kangaroo Island Adelaide Melbourne  - just 5 nights which says we have included the Plus Beverage Package , Medallionet device etc  ( we are Platinum members ) . Being just 5 nights , Princess usually do not offer Beverage Packages for cruises 7 nights or less . Our Summary does list the beverage package as included as complimentary with the fare purchase so I would hope there would not be a problem onboard - Does anyone have a similar experience with this ?

We had the beverage package on a four day cruise last month on the Coral. No problems at all. Enjoy 🙂

Thankyou for the quick reply - thats great news - - do you know if it was possible to upgrade the package to the Premium one with better spirits and wine etc ?

Phone Princess or use their live chat, they should be able to let you know 🍹

Geoff and Julie who have had experience with this said it is better to pay the extra few dollars when you want to order a more expensive drink. It is more cost-effective compared with paying the much higher price for Premium.

That's correct if you just want to have the upgraded drinks package without the other Premier features. If you want the 4 device internet package, two speciality dinners and photo package as well then it costs an extra $35pp per day.

Yes, we have done that on a 3 night cruise. I only see value for money on short cruises, as the photo package and 2 x specialty dining are only applied once, regardless of the length of cruise. On a 3 night cruise, the extras cost us $105 each, for 5 nights it will cost $175 each, so still good value if you want to take advantage of the whole package.

Talk to your T/A to upgrade it (or Princess if you booked direct).

Otherwise as Julie mentioned, you can still buy the dearer drinks and only pay the price difference above $16 (a $20 drink costs you $4)
